Geraldo Rivera will return to the airwaves this week following his termination from Fox News at the end of June after a two-decade tenure.
The former resident liberal on “The Five” and “Hannity” will join “The View” on Thursday, he announced on Twitter.
Monday afternoon, Rivera tweeted, “Delighted to do @TheView Thursday. Wonder what they’ll ask me about.”

Some of his followers were not surprised by the 80-year-old’s announcement, stating that he would fit right in on the notoriously far-left program.

Rivera’s last appearance on Fox News occurred on June 30.
Later in the day, following a farewell on “Fox & Friends,” he sat at the table on “The Five” for the final time.
Rivera left Fox News as a result of online and reportedly behind-the-scenes tension with network anchor Greg Gutfeld.
Following his dismissal from Fox News, the former daytime talk show presenter attacked former prime-time personality Tucker Carlson online, upsetting many viewers.
