The United States and all of its partners in World War II recognized Israel as a state in 1948. Since then, Palestinians have been fighting and protesting Israel’s existence.
After WWII, a lot of Jews moved to the Holy Land. The Allies made the country so that Jews, who had been terribly oppressed, would have a place to call home. The US promised to stand by Israel and protect her.
Wars change the lines on a map, and the end of WWII changed Europe and the Middle East in many ways. But the Palestinians are still trying to attack and take over Israel after 75 years.
An MSNBC show shows that the American political left is now seeing things in a whole new way. The shocking attack and invasion of Israel by Palestine this past week has changed these points of view.
Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC showed her reptilian lack of emotion when she thought an Israeli mother whose home had been attacked and her children taken by Hamas would feel sorry for the people who took the children.
The New York Post reports:
Mitchell, whose left-leaning network has drawn criticism for refusing to refer to Hamas attackers as terrorists, pressed the unidentified mom on her feelings about Israel’s attacks on Gaza.
Incredibly, Andrea Mitchell asks Israeli mother, whose two children were abducted by Hamas Terrorists, how she feels about Israel retaliation in Gaza.

The mother immediately refuted Mitchell’s stance, answering in no uncertain terms, the Post reports:
“I can’t be sympathetic to animal human beings — well, they’re not really human beings — who came into my house, broke everything, stole everything, took my children from their bedrooms and took them to the Gaza Strip,” she said.
“Israel never done that, and it will never do. So there is no symmetry! I’m sorry.”
The mom added: “If you were dealing with a war who is between two countries, countries don’t take children hostages. I’m sorry. It’s against the laws of war. It’s against humanity. It’s against anything that we all believe in.”
“Every time we had missiles shot at us, I used to say to my children that they should be sympathetic towards the children of Gaza because they suffer a lot more than they do.”
The mother told the Israeli government that sending the prisoners back to their homes in Gaza should be their “first priority.”
“I think any mother in the world should try and imagine her children under that situation and then think again,” the woman said.
“That’s all I want.”
The Post has sought comment from Mitchell and MSNBC.

The scene shows how little care people around the world have for children’s well-being. There is a clear line between people who want to protect children socially and people who want to use them for their own gain, since children are being sold as goods and are now being used as war pawns.
The New York Times says that Hamas struck Israel early Saturday morning, hitting more than 20 locations in southern Israel. They killed more than 1,000 people, mostly civilian women and children, and took about 150 more hostage.
The Times states: “They were killed waiting for the bus, dancing at a festival, doing morning chores and hiding as best they could. Searching bullet-riddled houses, streets, and lawns, Israeli soldiers are still finding them.”
The Palestinian shooter didn’t go after military targets; instead, he went after all the places where regular people would be on a Saturday morning.
The Israel Defense Forces told CNN that the militants who broke into the fair in Kfar Aza killed many people, including women, children, babies, and the elderly in a way that was typical of ISIS.
According to the Times, “Soldiers and rescue workers said scores or possibly hundreds of people were killed.” As the search for bodies goes on, the number of people is still going up.
Israel quickly attacked the Gaza strip from the air, taking everyone by surprise. They have since worked to block off the strip. If there is any kind of response, Hamas has said they will kill the Israeli prisoners, even if they are children.
There are also rumors that more attacks may happen, so the IDF has sent more tanks and men to the border.
CNN reports that the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza says hospitals will go without fuel for their generators because the area is closed off. This will cause “catastrophic” conditions in the hospitals in Gaza.
They seem to be ignoring how terrible things became for their country when they attacked Israel and think that Israel should feel bad for responding.
Palestine is now complaining that its supply routes have been cut off. The Palestinian Ministry of Interior Affairs says that Israel’s response is causing “direct injuries among citizens,” ignoring the killing of Israeli civilians and children and the promise by Palestinians to kill hostages.
It has been revealed by President Biden that 14 Americans are also among the dead. He has, happily, called the Hamas attacks “evil.” We hope that Ms. Mitchell will change her mind about the evil.
