A Los Angeles Dodgers fan attempted to propose to his fiancée on Opening Day, Thursday night, but was severely assaulted by a security officer as he went onto the field.
Yet the story ended positively with the news that she answered “yes” after being struck hard and detained briefly.
Ricardo Juarez uploaded a video to social media that depicted him sprinting onto the field and searching for the ideal area to kneel.
It is reasonable that it just took him a second to locate the ideal position. It is no little act to ask the lady of your dreams to spend the rest of her life with you.
Fortunately, his girlfriend, Ramona Saavedra, did not accompany him onto the field at Dodger Stadium.
Officials deemed Juarez’s location for a romantic gesture to be less than ideal, and he was brutally assaulted by a member of team security.
If this were a football game, the security guy appeared to have led with the crown of his head, which would have resulted in a targeting penalty.
However, the jilted baseball fan might as well have been struck by a Mack truck. Once he was crushed, several guards climbed on top of him.

Nonetheless, it appears that the accompanying agony was worthwhile.
In his message, Juarez stated, “She said YES.”
Saavedra also posted a video on Instagram, this one depicting her guy being led off the field with his wrists tied behind his back by many individuals.
