Occasionally, reality cuts so deeply that not even Democrats are able to disregard it.
President Joe Biden, who compromised his office in an attempt to salvage an ill-fated nuclear agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran, has officially informed Congress that American military force has been deployed against terrorist organizations that have received funding and training from the aforementioned republic.
Now, Americans are expected to have faith in his competence?
As reported by The Washington Times, Biden penned a letter to Democratic Senate President Pro Tempore Patty Murray and Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson on Friday in order to satisfy the War Powers Act’s requirement that presidents consult with congressional leaders prior to military action.

Biden specifically identified the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran as the orchestrator responsible for the assaults on American military installations in Iraq and Syria within the correspondence.
He then cited U.S. strikes against facilities utilized for command and control, munitions storage, and other objectives by the IRGC and IRGC-affiliated organizations. With the aim of establishing deterrence, the attacks were executed in a manner that prevented civilian casualties and minimized the potential for escalation.
“I directed the strikes in order to protect and defend our personnel, to degrade and disrupt the ongoing series of attacks against the United States and our partners, and to deter Iran and Iran-backed militia groups from conducting or supporting further attacks on United States personnel and facilities,” the president wrote.
There is a strong likelihood that the clerics in Tehran were not overly impressed.
Biden has consistently demonstrated vulnerability ever since he completed the oath of office. He surrendered the country’s southern frontier within days, only to witness an unlawful alien invasion devastate the area.
He relinquished the nation’s military strategy to an ignominious withdrawal from Afghanistan within months.
In less than a year, he effectively authorized Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, to launch an invasion of Ukraine, which ignited the bloodiest conflict in Europe since the Second World War.
Amid all of this, he maintained his pursuit of the nuclear agreement with Iran that former President Barack Obama and himself initially reached in 2015, only to have it completely thwarted by former President Donald Trump. Trump consistently dealt with Tehran as if he were cognizant of the fact that it represents one of the most perilous adversaries the United States confronts globally.
Biden held the exact opposing view.
Biden capped years of self-deprecation and humiliation—the U.S. team was not even permitted to negotiate face-to-face with Iranians in Vienna; only other Western nations were permitted—and an Iran that arrogantly declared its intent to destroy Israel with a disgraceful agreement to secure the release of U.S. citizens held by Iran in exchange for the unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian funds.
Moreover, following a personal history of presidential appeasement that would cause Neville Chamberlain to cringe, he now expects the nation to recognize him as the tough guy that Middle Eastern Muslims fear.
Remember that this is the same president who, just 10 days ago, could not definitively state what the entire world knows to be true: that Iran was involved in the Hamas atrocity in Israel on October 7, which estimated 1,400 Jews were slain.
Biden’s post-slaughter speech made no mention of this fact.
However, he is now committing to paper the claim that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran is the poltergeist responsible for the violence that is raging throughout the Middle East.
An American who has experienced the more than two decades since September 11th does not approach the possibility of another conflict with levity.
All indications suggest that the United States is approaching a momentous juncture in the Middle East and worldwide. War rumors and news of conflicts resound through the air.
It will be difficult for even Biden supporters to have faith that the current commander-in-chief possesses the mental faculties necessary to serve as president during a conflict.
The multitude of Biden’s detractors could never be persuaded otherwise.
He is insufficiently elderly. Too corrupt is he. He is inherently dishonest to effectively serve the American people during the most crucial moments of his position.
Democrats betrayal of the nation’s interests when they selected this shambles of a former statesman to lead the sole superpower in the world. It is the reality that the establishment media of the nation have brazenly supported.
Moreover, the reality is currently biting too hard for even Democrats to ignore.
