BREAKING: DA Alvin Bragg Makes Huge Statement on Trump’s Potential Arrest

Published on

Befuttled District Attorney Alvin Bragg of Manhattan, New York, has been scrutinized for his fictitious requests to have 2024 presidential contender President Donald J. Trump jailed for an affair he didn’t have and “hush money” he didn’t pay.

Within days after a leaked letter from his office prepping people for the arrest of Trump, Bragg is facing his own legal troubles as the US Congress investigates his blatant misuse of authority in a highly corrupt and troubled New York DA’s office.

Yahoo news reported that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) demanded the arrest of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) for “prosecutorial malfeasance” on Wednesday, amid rumors that Bragg is close to indicting former President Trump for his alleged participation in a 2016 hush money payment.

“Now it’s time to arrest Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for prosecutorial misconduct after hiding hundreds of pages of exculpatory evidence!” Greene tweeted. “Bragg is on the verge of indicting an innocent former President and top Presidential candidate against the opposing ruling party.”

“Bragg is breaking the law and trying to incite civil unrest with his Soros funded political war,” she added, connecting the Manhattan district attorney to billionaire and popular Republican target George Soros. “Hold him accountable!”

Wednesday, when speaking to reporters, the Georgia representative accused Bragg of violating the law and demanded that he be disbarred.

“He didn’t show the grand jury hundreds of pages of evidence, and he should have done that,” Greene told reporters. “If they’re a grand jury, they need to have all the evidence there before they decide for an indictment … He should be disbarred if he’s going to be using his position to target the Republican Party’s top primary presidential candidate just for politics.”

Greene’s assertions that the Manhattan district attorney suppressed “hundreds of pages of evidence” appear to allude to statements made by Robert Costello, Michael Cohen’s former legal counsel.

Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney and longtime fixer, paid adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep her quiet about an alleged affair with the former president before the 2016 election. Yahoo reported that Cohen pled guilty to campaign finance crimes in 2018 in relation to the payment.

Bragg submitted a letter to members of the House Judiciary Committee in response to queries regarding his aggressive activities towards Trump.

The Committee chair, US Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), issued a letter “demanding communications, documents, and testimony relating to Bragg’s unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority and the potential indictment of former President Donald Trump.”
