Police in Florida detained an 8-year-old child for allegedly cutting the throat of a teenager and then threatening to “kill everyone.”

Saturday’s event occurred in a residence, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and WESH-TV.

The victim was reportedly assaulted in the house’s garage when he was elbowed in the stomach by the youngster, according to WRBW-TV.

Later, the youngster is accused of attacking the same victim, who was so severely suffocated that he claimed he could no longer breathe.

According to the affidavit, the victim fought off his attacker, but the youngster reportedly retrieved a knife.

According to the police report, the victim attempted to converse with the youngster, but instead the boy swung the knife and sliced the victim’s throat.

A neighbor intervened to seize the knife, according to the report. The defendant is suspected of attempting to strike the victim with a stick, but was prevented by other youngsters.

According to WESH, at that moment the youngster allegedly threatened to “murder everyone.”

According to WRBW, the youngster then allegedly walked inside the residence to grab another knife.

Deputy sheriffs of Lake County were requested. According to the New York Post, the 8-year-old was “crying” and pleading not to be removed.
