She has had sufficient! Tulsi Gabbard, who gained a household name as a presidential candidate for the Democrats, is abandoning the crazed Democrat Party, throwing up the towel on the whole party because she has too much common sense! During debates, Gabbard contradicted the extreme leftist narrative that she is one of the only appealing Democrats remaining in 2020 by demonstrating that she is definitely not like other Democrats.
According to her profile, Gabbard is an officer in the United States Army Reserve and a political pundit who represented Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021. Gabbard was the first Hindu and first Samoan-American to serve as a voting member of Congress.
“Gabbard, of Hawaii and a military veteran, made the announcement on Twitter in a post that includes a roughly one-minute-long video in which she talks about her reasons for leaving the party,” Just The News reported on Monday.
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism,” Gabbard wrote.
Her retirement is not entirely unexpected, since Gabbard has been an outspoken critic of the Democratic Party for years, making her a popular figure among Republicans.
In a brief video, Gabbard eloquently criticized the Democratic Party and invited others to join her:
“I’m calling on my fellow common-sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so-called woke Democratic party ideologues are taking our country- then I invite you to join me.”

Gabbard followed up her Twitter video with a post on her Substack, which went into more detail about her decision. Here is a part of that entry:
More on this story via The Republic Brief:
I love our country. Our God-given rights of freedom, life, and liberty enshrined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights are my inspiration. I answered the call to duty and took an oath, dedicating my life to supporting and defending those freedoms, both in uniform and in public office.
Growing up in Hawaii gave me a special appreciation of our home, water, and precious natural resources. So when I was 21 years old I decided to run for Hawaii State House so that I could be in a position to protect our environment. I wasn’t politically affiliated before that, but as I was about to file my election papers, I had to choose which party to affiliate with. CONTINUE READING…
