It is evident from the deterioration of America’s body that her spirit is under attack.
Nothing could better symbolize this than the courthouse in New York where the civil financial fraud prosecution of former President Donald Trump is being heard.
“The courthouse I was in today, it was disgusting,” Trump’s son Eric said in a Wednesday interview with Newsmax. “It smells. You had cables running across all the walls. It’s a disgrace. … That’s a representation of our legal system.”
The majority of Americans concur that our legal system fails. According to a Trafalgar poll conducted in 2022, nearly 80 percent of respondents believe the United States has a two-tiered justice system. If something appears (and scents) to be decaying, it most likely is.
“You see the same thing at airports,” Eric Trump continued. “How often do you fly through an airport and you’ve got [ceiling tiles] that are falling down, right?”
It’s not just airports.
“We’re running a $2 trillion deficit and our bridges are falling down and our roads suck and our trains are antiquated,” he said. “You look at China where they’re building these bullet trains that go 300 miles an hour. We’re falling behind the rest of the world.”
The exact same. The globalists desire and require that the United States falls behind.
Equity necessitates equal outcomes for everyone, regardless of their God-given capabilities. If the scrawny child wishes to be on the football team, he must get equal playing time with the natural athlete who can lead the team to victory. This is equality. It is self-destructive.
In the United States, mediocre intellects are in charge of our institutions. The result is a cancer-like decay that is visible in both cities and rural villages.
Eric Trump went on to say, “Every single day we’re sending another $100 billion over to Ukraine to fight these wars and protect other people’s borders.”
Obviously, he is exaggerating, but his thesis is that Democrats (and many Republicans) are focusing on the incorrect issues. Prioritizing the United States is the last item on their agendas.
The U.S. spent $6.72 trillion in 2022 and has spent “$1.52 trillion more than it has collected in fiscal year (FY) 2023,” according to the Treasury. On what?
Evidently not the courthouse in which the former president of the United States is being tried on politically motivated, fictitious charges.
Where does the money go if not to foreign countries? Well, a substantial amount is conveniently lost.
According to Richard Stern of The Heritage Foundation, “The government has just lost — as if you dropped it on the sidewalk — trillions and trillions of dollars over the last few decades. … That is money that was stolen from hard-working Americans to just simply get wasted,” CNBC reported.
If the federal government does not lose it, it is wasted on absurd left-wing initiatives.
According to Open the Books, in recent years the government has spent $478,188 to make primates “transgender,” $550,000 on Russian undead cat experiments, and $6,900,000 on toilet cameras to identify your “anal print.”
In the meantime, many of us are evading potholes and pondering whether the next bridge we cross will collapse.
Eric Trump is correct. It emits a scent.
However, do not abandon hope. Not what patriotic citizens do. The country may appear to be deteriorating externally, but its Christian foundation can continually renew the American character.
