CVS Pharmacy, a health care company that employs individuals who ostensibly embrace science in medicine, has gone “woke” and will require all employees — without exception — to accept the fallacy that people can alter their genders.
Employees at the retail giant’s thousands of U.S. stores were recently provided with a policy on how to address their “trans” colleagues, which included a reminder that any restroom may be used at any time by anyone.
In addition, employees who inform their supervisors that they intend to engage in gender-bending will be granted time off, and their coworkers will be required to use their preferred pronouns.
The company’s new “gender transition guidelines” were obtained by Fox Business, and they make it abundantly clear how company executives feel about skeptics of the gender hysteria sweeping the culture.
CVS instructed employees who intend to undertake a gender transition to inform the company so it can “provide support and make your transition as smooth as possible.”
“You may also wish to have appropriate medical care to support your transition, including treatments such as hormone replacement therapy and/or gender confirmation surgery,” the guide said.
It added: “During and after the transition has occurred, CVS Health encourages you to continue to partner with your Leader and your Advice & Counsel representative, and to immediately report any issues that you might have with your employment, your work environment, and/or your Leader, co-workers, clients, and customers.”
As if validating the delusions of confused individuals was not enough, CVS also informed its employees that it will poison the working environment in stores by requiring everyone on the payroll to feign that a male masquerading as a woman — or vice versa — is who they claim to be.
CVS included “Guidelines for Supporting a Colleague Who Is Transitioning” amidst a plethora of other corporate verbiage pertaining to the company’s commitment to diversity.
It requires employees whose solitary objective is to come to work each day in the hopes of earning a livelihood and being comfortable while doing so to be hypervigilant in ensuring they do not misgender those around them.
“People use different terms to refer to themselves, but some terms are universally considered disrespectful and violate CVS’s policy against discrimination and harassment,” the company told its employees. “Terms like transgender, trans-male/trans-female, non-binary or ‘male’ or ‘female’ should be used.”
Women who may not be enthusiastic about sharing confidential personal spaces with males no longer have a choice.
Employees are instructed to use “the most appropriate” restrooms in order to feel validated.
“Any colleague, customer, or patient — transgender or otherwise — may choose to use the restroom and/or locker room that is appropriate to the gender they identify with,” CVS told employees.
More likely than not, the author(s) of this new policy believed they were being “progressive” by joining the left in its mission to dismantle the social fiber of the country.
In actuality, this is just more poor business from “woke” American corporations.
The policy is an immoral directive that appears designed to intimidate employees who simply want to come to work to assist customers without their employer forcing them to take a stance on divisive issues.
This policy is likely to poison relationships between company store employees.
It also raises significant doubts as to whether CVS is the best location for people to obtain high-quality medicine from qualified salespeople.
CVS asks customers to entrust their medication dosages, vaccinations, and other requirements to a company with an anti-science stance.
