An individual has elucidated the underlying reason for the existence of windowless skyscrapers in several cities across the United States, including New York.
Individuals feel uneasy in the presence of enormous, windowless structures, and there has been substantial discussion about the activities concealed behind their opaque facades.
The concept of an extraterrestrial refuge is under consideration. Does this location have ties to a secret and malevolent religious sect? Is there a school that offers specialized training for those seeking a career in espionage?
Tom Hanks, a renowned Hollywood actor, has also pondered the issue of the buildings’ prospective utilization.
In 2017, he tweeted a picture of New York’s 33 Thomas Street with the query, “This is the scariest building I’ve ever seen! What’s going on within?”

Eric Guidry, also known as @e.guidry on TikTok, disclosed the structures’ true functions, so there is no longer any need to speculate. In addition, the absence of extraterrestrials may either please or disillusion you.
“So that building in New York, this windowless building in San Francisco, this one in Chicago, this one in Austin and hundreds more buildings placed conspicuously across the country, in very populous locations,” Guidry says in the clip.
The structures, it turns out, are all connected to AT&T’s extensive network of long lines.
“Before we had digital telephony, the lines on your phones physically connected to the person on the other end’s phone.
“That meant we need these massive switching hubs. Most of those buildings I showed were built in the ’70s [or earlier]. “That means they didn’t require actual operators.
“And because this machinery didn’t particularly care if there was light or not, they just decided, why add windows?”
“That building is 33 Thomas Street, which is known to be one of the most secure towers in the world,” Eric explained, providing more details about the precise AT&T building in New York that was shown in the original TikTok clip.
“It has enough gas, water and electricity to be able to continue running independently for up to two weeks and is supposed to be able to actually withstand a nuclear blast… within reason.
“Although most of the equipment has been digitalized and you don’t need it for phones, it’s still critical for network and internet infrastructure.
“In fact, if you’re watching this in the US, this video probably went through one of those buildings.”
However, conspiracy theorists assert that the structure was a National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance facility.
According to ‘compelling evidence’ presented in 2016 by the non-profit The Intercept, which included documents released by NSA leaker Edward Snowden, the structure may have served as a monitoring site known as TITANPOINTE.
According to a 2016 study, a former AT&T engineer claimed that “a major gateway switch” routes all communications between the United States and other countries.
In contrast, some hypotheses, such as “lizard headquarters” and “vampires,” are a bit more outlandish.
