It is becoming apparent that the Democrats are looking for change in the White House, whether it be a change in strategy since there have been very few achievements or a change of top staff members surrounding Joe Biden.

Despite waning poll numbers – last month, the president received his lowest approval rating at 33 percent – it appears that Biden is failing on the political front, according to a recent report from NBC News. This report claims that Joe Biden’s message does not seem to resonate with Americans. There is little chance that his party will be able to keep their congressional majority, since his Build Back Better plan is not working, he was unable to resolve the Chinese Coronavirus, and inflation continues to rise.
In a conversation with NBC, Democratic operatives said they are concerned that if the path of Biden is not strengthened soon, the Democratic party’s chances in November could deteriorate, complicating his plans moving forward.
“A sign of a good leader and a successful executive is to identify the policies or personnel choices that have not resulted in success and make necessary course corrections — because it’s too important not to,” stated Rep. Stephanie Murphy, who announced last year that she will retire from Congress at the end of the current term.
Furthermore, a few Democrats have also called for the resignation of Biden’s staff and cemented the departure of at least a few others from the White House. According to NBC, even in private conversations, “there is broader agreement within the party that Biden can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results” with the same staff.
As NBC reported, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), a caucus on Capitol Hill devoted to far-left issues, spoke anonymously in order to avoid conflict with Biden. According to the member, replacing top aides like Ron Klain “would send a signal to the public that Biden understands something has to change.”
“Biden’s the star quarterback, and you can’t fire the star quarterback, so you start looking at the head coach and the offensive coordinator and the defensive coordinator,” the lawmaker stated, in reference to Klain, who orchestrated the president’s agenda. “Fairly or unfairly in a situation like this, you start looking at the person who is in the chief of staff position.”
There was wide agreement among Democratic lawmakers that President Biden needs to change his top aides following his recent promise to promote his agenda across the country.
“I don’t think there’s anything abnormal after a year of looking at your staffing situation and maybe shaking things up,” this lawmaker said. “My hope is that he does do that.” Klain’s lack of enforcement has caused delays in Biden’s agenda because of hiss failure to enforce the law on far-left Democrats, according to the lawmaker.“You’ve got to crack some heads sometimes.”
It has irritated the Congressperson that despite Biden meeting with members of Congress, major initiatives such as Build Back Better have not been voted upon.
“There was no strategy. That just put the president in a horrible, horrible situation,” they said. “That has to fall on the head of the chief of staff.”
However, Biden appears not to be interested in replacing his veteran staffers, the ones who have been with him either since he was vice president in the Obama administration or since he was a senator: Klain, his deputy chief of staff Bruce Reed, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, and others.
Last month when Biden said he would be traveling more, he added, “I’m satisfied with my team.”
During a December interview with NBC’s Willie Geist, which will be aired in full on his podcast “Sunday Sitdown,” Hillary Clinton seemed to suggest that the White House is not “stable” and “sane,” according to her comments.
It was in response to Geist asking why Democrats are so likely to lose swing elections in next year’s midterm elections because of the progressive wing of the party.
“So what do you see as the state of the Democratic Party right now?” Geist asked.
“I think that it is a time for some, you know, careful thinking about what wins elections and not just in Deep Blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat or so-called progressive Democrat is going to win,” Clinton said.
“I understand why people want to argue for their priorities, that’s what they believe they were elected to do. So, look, I am all about having vigorous debates. I think it’s good and it gives people a chance to be part of the process,” she added.
“But, at the end of the day it means nothing if we don’t have a Congress that’ll get things done and we don’t have a White House that we can count on to be sane and sober and stable and productive,” Clinton said.

Additionally, Clinton mentioned Donald Trump’s intention to run for president in 2024.
“If I were a betting person right now, I’d say Trump is going to run again. He seems to be setting himself up to do that. And if he’s not held accountable, then he gets to do it again,” she said.
“I think that could be the end of our democracy. Not to be too pointed about it, but I want people to understand that this is a make-or-break point. If he were, or someone of his ilk were once again to be elected president, and if especially he had a Congress that would do his bidding, you will not recognize our country,” Clinton added.
