During an emotional funeral ceremony held over the weekend in North Carolina for conservative YouTuber Lynette ‘Diamond’ Hardaway, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 51, President Trump paid homage to Diamond alongside several influencers and political analysts. Hardaway’s cause of death was not revealed until her memorial ceremony on the weekend; nonetheless, it was believed that she died from complications of COVID because it was stated that she had not been feeling well.
According to Wikipedia, Hardaway and Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson, known as Diamond and Silk, respectively, were a pair of American conservative political commentators and vloggers. They are known for their support of former U.S. president Donald Trump. Both have served as contributors for the conservative news channel Newsmax.
The pair gained national attention during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and again in April 2018 after Facebook deemed them “unsafe for the community.” They responded by complaining publicly that Facebook had disabled and restricted their Facebook page. On April 26, 2018, at the invitation of Congressman Steve King, they testified before Congress on their removal from Facebook. Consequently, Republican members of Congress brought up the censorship charges of the two women during Mark Zuckerberg’s congressional appearance. April of 2020.
On January 8, 2023, Diamond passed away in her North Carolina residence.
