President Joe Biden’s standing amongst Hawaiians has plummeted, to put it mildly. The president has gone from ignoring the devastating flames on Maui to addressing them in the most insulting manner imaginable.
Since the start of the conflagration, Biden has taken two relaxing vacations and offered only $700 per household to victims, while attaching an additional $200 million to Ukraine.
Biden has repeatedly responded “No comment” when pressed by the press for a response to the calamity in Maui. Although the flames began on August 8, Biden had no comment when asked by the press on August 13 and 14. On August 15, during a speech in Milwaukee, Biden omitted the name of the burning island in a U.S. state.

Biden issued a formal statement on August 21 regarding the lethal conflagration and announced that he would be cutting short his vacation in Lake Tahoe to visit the island and the newly-established government response efforts. The Federal Emergency Management Agency did not establish its first relief center until August 16th, eight days later.
After three weeks, Biden finally traveled to Hawaii for a visit.
The National Pulse reports:
While en route to Maui, three weeks after the wildfire that devastated the Hawaiian island began, White House spokesperson Olivia Dalton said President Joe Biden will “make sure that he communicates to that not only have we been there since day one, has he been there since day one.” The false claim did not appear to be challenged by any of the corporate media in tow, traveling with the President.

According to the New York Times, Biden took a 20-minute helicopter ride over the damaged areas of Maui. Residents of Maui are not deceived by Biden’s words or actions.
With a yard sign, one island resident expressed their opinion on the late presidential visit. “Traitor Joe Must Go,” read a sign in front of a Maui residence.

Volunteer Eddy Garcia slammed Biden’s visit as he handed out fruit to people made homeless by the fires. “The Biden visit was a public relations tactic,” he said.
“They failed us on every level,” he said, speaking about the response to the fires. “Their red tape, their bureaucracy.”
Other Hawaiians, including an ex-teacher named Kristen Goodwin, described how she felt after hearing such a remark about the Maui fire:
“There are no words in response to something like that. There’s a thousand people still missing on this island, business owners who want people to come back, and who is going to come to a secluded island with people still missing?
According to Daily Fetched, community members have banded together and cared for one another. It was several days before federal aid arrived. They closed a road for no reason other than to prevent people from trampling over [rescue and search] sites.
While official reports indicate 114 fatalities, many accuse the government and the media of understating the destruction.
As documented by The Daily Fetched over the weekend, locals assert that at least 480 people have perished and that “morgues had run out of body bags.”
Videos and photographs obtained by the Daily Mail depict authorities loading corpses into refrigerated vehicles because morgues are full.
Authorities are setting up mobile morgues on the island of Maui in Hawaii to deal with the death toll from the wildfires.
Residents say the death toll is at least 480, well above the official figure of 114.

Daily Fetched also reported on Biden’s insulting remarks regarding his own experience with a house fire, which utterly trivialized the terror Maui’s residents confronted.
Daily Fetched noted:
Biden claimed he knew what it is like losing a home as he recalled a small kitchen fire at his home 15 years ago in an apparent attempt to compare it to people who had lost everything due to the Maui fire.
“I don’t want to compare difficulties, but we have a little sense, Jill and I, of what it was like to lose a home,” Biden said.
“Years ago, now 15 years, I was in Washington doing ‘Meet the press’… Lightning struck at home on a little lake outside the home, not a lake, a big pond.”
“It hit the wire and came up underneath our home, into the…air condition ducts,” Biden said. “To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my 67 Corvette, and my cat,” he added.
“This is the most despicable thing this president has ever said,” a restaurant owner in Kihei, Maui, told The Daily Signal. “How do you compare almost losing your f* Corvette to the children burned in their f* homes, man?”
Stuart Varney, presenter of Fox Business, stated that the White House’s response to the Maui fire made Vice President Biden appear “out of touch.”
“He’s mentally exhausted by the Hunter investigation and the apparent pressures of the job. August has been a painful reminder of the growing problem of Biden’s age,” Varney stated. “His response to the Maui tragedy is one more reason to question his ability to do the job for another 6 years,” he continued.
