Elon Musk Posts Photo of Bedside Table, And the Left Won’t Like What’s on It: ‘Let the Tears Start Falling Like Rain’

Monday morning was no exception to the trend of Elon Musk’s occasionally contentious tweets garnering both admiration and criticism.

The billionaire entrepreneur of SpaceX and Tesla posted a photograph of his “bedside table” on Monday morning, which featured many things that generated strong reaction. The goods included four cans of caffeine-free Diet Coke, a flintlock weapon in a case depicting George Washington crossing the Delaware River, and a “sci-fi-looking revolver,” according to Fox Business.

Multiple rings from drink glasses and cans were visible on the nightstand, causing Musk to address the issue playfully without commenting on the other things, which were certainly the image’s major focus for most.

“There is no excuse for my lack of coasters,” Musk wrote.

Twitter users who responded to Musk’s photograph engaged in significant conjecture over the authenticity and functionality of the firearms, particularly the revolver.

A brief search found that the revolver was inspired by a weapon from the popular computer role-playing game Deus Ex. Whether or not its operating was not confirmed.

Other Twitter users reacted to Musk’s nightstand photo by anticipating that it will spark a wave of heated response from the anti-gun left, particularly as Democrats seek to push gun control legislation in the aftermath of two recent horrific killings.

“LOL – This is going to trigger the Left more than anything you’ve ever tweeted. Let the tears start falling like rain,” famous conservative Twitter personality “Catturd” tweeted.

Robby Starbuck tweeted, “The people who want to ban handguns are going to lose it over this.”

Some Twitter users were able to identify more items on Musk’s nightstand, including an empty glass bottle and a book titled “George Washinton’s Rules of Civility & Decent Behaviour in Company and Conversation.”

More on this story via The Western Journal:

The brass-colored item on the far left of Musk’s image was identified as a Buddhist “thunderbolt” and “diamond” ritual object. The Khan Academy described the “thunderbolt” item as one of “the most important ritual objects of Tibetan Buddhism.”

Anecdotally, it appears as if Musk’s eccentric nightstand image was well-received by those who appreciate his bold approach to ensuring Twitter becomes a genuinely free speech platform. CONTINUE READING…
