Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has cautioned that most people are utterly oblivious of the threat presented by World War III breaking out.
As the turmoil in Ukraine continues to rage, Musk warns that “most are ignorant to the threat” of a worldwide war.
The remark was made in reaction to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ speech to the General Assembly on Monday.
Guterres voiced concern during his speech that mankind was going toward a “wider war” with its “eyes wide open.”
“Could we please not do WWIII,” asked commentator Luke Rudkowski.
“Most are oblivious to the danger,” responded Musk.

Despite supplying the Ukrainian government with SpaceX Starlink satellite internet systems, pro-war advocates have blasted Musk for advocating for peace.
Mikhail Podoliak, an advisor to Ukraine President Vladimir Zelensky, even stated last week, without providing evidence, that Musk is assisting Russia.
Podoliak said Musk has been limiting the reach of pro-Ukraine Twitter accounts in order to aid in the dissemination of “Russian propaganda.”
“Maybe a regulator is needed to explain competition rules to the owner?” Podoliak suggested.
Musk earlier warned that the “relentless escalation” of the situation in Ukraine was jeopardizing global security.
In January, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock sparked outrage when she declared, “We are fighting a war against Russia.”
Croatian President Zoran Milanovic responded by labeling the comment “madness.”
Milanovic went on to wish Germany greater success than they had in their previous conflict with Russia 70 years ago.
According to Slay News, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church warned last month that any attempt to “destroy Russia” by “madmen” attempting to impose their ideals would result in “the end of the world.
“We pray to the Lord so that he enlightens those madmen and helps them understand that any desire to destroy Russia will mean the end of the world,” said Patriarch Kirill.
President Donald Trump has previously stated that “we are on the brink of World War 3.”
In a campaign video last week, Trump asserted: “If I were president, the Russia-Ukraine war would never have happened … never in a million years.”
“But even now, if I were president, I’d be able to negotiate an end to this horrible and rapidly escalating war within 24 hours,” he added.
