Newly released surveillance camera film depicts murder victim Gabby Petito with her confessed killer Brian Laundrie soon before Petito’s death, perhaps revealing insight into a shocking murder that captured the nation’s attention.
Fox News got the footage, which was captured on the last known day of Petito’s life.
In CCTV captured on August 27, 2021 in Jackson, Wyoming, Petito and Laundrie can be seen exiting a white vehicle and entering a Whole Foods market.
Later, they exit the car and re-enter it, heading onto a roadway leading to the ultimate spot where Petito’s body was discovered.
According to Fox News, the campground in the Bridger-Teton National Forest where Petito’s bones were discovered two months later is 30 miles north of Jackson.
Even though the video looks to be benign, a body language specialist identifies what she calls “red flags” in the video.
Patti Wood, a body language specialist, told the U.S. Sun of Petito’s behavior on the security camera film, “It’s very clear that she’s afraid and closed off from him.”
“As soon as they are seen walking toward the door you notice something very off,” Wood said, referring to the video’s two-minute mark.
“She is also walking with her legs extremely close together, which could indicate a fear of attack.”
Wood told the Sun that Petito and Laundrie do not appear to be a typical young couple in the video.
“One of the most intimate things you can do with your partner is grocery shop with them,” she said.

“They are not in the store together, even though it’s just the two of them on this trip,” Wood told the Sun. “You would think that they would want to make decisions together.” CONTINUE READING…
