It is hardly a leap of the imagination to believe that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) may attempt to influence the lives of civic-minded Americans who vote in US elections, given that the CCP possesses their names. It is not unreasonable to speculate that the Chinese have further databases of Americans who participate in civics, media, and political action. Or, what other kind of election software do the Chinese employ?
One group of committed election integrity activists from True the Vote and their friends have uncovered all of this at great personal sacrifice, and the media is reporting the most of it to assist those who are counting votes in American elections.
Wednesday’s news was dominated by a dramatic arrest that began to uncover a much wider narrative.
Eugene Yu, 51, of Konnech Corporation, was arrested in Meridian Township in Michigan on Tuesday and held on suspicion of theft of personal identifying information, Los Angeles County district attorney George Gascón said in a statement.
The office of the district attorney is requesting his extradition to California.
The response to the arrest was prompt:
“The Left’s favorite Chinese American, Konnech CEO Eugene Yu, was heading to the airport to get out of Michigan when he was nabbed. No cell phone on him! Prosecutors call him a flight risk because of his extensive connections in China. Election fraud has consequences!” Dinesh D’Souza wrote in response.
This week, the facts of the arrest went viral, prompting many individuals to ask whether or not it is indeed safe to participate in American Civics.
“Konnech CEO Eugene Yu was caught lying about storing the personal data of 2M US election workers in China. Legacy media went totally silent. Thus the CCP likely has had access passwords to multiple US election systems & devices FOR YEARS. What to do now?” Rasmussen news reported, linking to a story by a poster known as Kanekoa The Great.

FBI Conceals Chinese Infiltration of U.S. Election Software
“This is a red Chinese communist op run against the United States by Chinese operatives, and it’s a disaster.”
Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips appeared together on “truethevote.locals.com” on Monday to reveal their 15-month involvement in what they described as a “counter-intelligence operation” involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the American election corporation Konnech Inc.

Konnech, based out of East Lansing, Michigan, builds software to manage the poll workers, poll locations, campaigns, assets, and supplies necessary to run elections in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
In January 2021, Phillips said that the cyber analyst he had been working with encountered an “oddity in some of the URLs” such as vote4la.com, vote4detroit.com, and vote4boston.com, which Konnech’s “PollChief” software application used to gather personally-identifying information about poll workers.
