According to press sources, Senator John Fetterman was hospitalized for the second time in just over a week.
CNBC reported that Fetterman admitted himself to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Wednesday night for treatment of mental depression.
According to a statement released on Thursday by Fetterman’s chief of staff Adam Jentleson, while John has suffered from depression intermittently throughout his life, it has just recently become serious.

According to Jentleson’s statement, “On Monday, John was evaluated by Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the attending physician of the United States Congress.”
“Yesterday, Dr. Monahan recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed. John agreed, and he is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis.
“After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself.”
After having a stroke while running for office in May 2022, the Pennsylvania Democrat has suffered with several health challenges.
This health incident led to months of rumors and widespread criticism that Fetterman was unfit for government.
