It has only been a few weeks since Fox News reached a settlement with Dominion voting systems over a defamation lawsuit filed against the network by Dominion, which led to the dismissal of primetime Fox anchor Tucker Carlson. At $787.5 million, the financial settlement was one of the largest in history, allowing Fox to exclude executives and on-air talent from testifying. In the weeks following former President Donald Trump’s 2020 defeat, the complaint centered on Fox’s broadcast of fraudulent claims of a stolen election.
Now, the conservative news network is being sued for defamation.
According to The New York Times, “the suit, brought by a specialist in Russian disinformation, cites parallels with the recently settled Dominion Voting Systems case against Fox.”
Nina Jankowicz was the former executive director of the now-defunct Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security, also known as the “Ministry of Truth.”
In the past five years, Jankowicz has made numerous errors.
And she believes she is quite attractive, as evidenced by the tweet below.

The lawsuit filed this week on behalf of Jankowicz alleges that “the network promoted lies about her that generated serious threats to her safety and harmed her career prospects,” as reported by the New York Times.
According to the article, “Right-wing pundits and politicians falsely portrayed her group as part of an Orwellian bid to control the speech and thought of ordinary Americans.” Tucker Carlson, Maria Bartiromo and Sean Hannity, were cited in particular as making among the “300 mentions over eight months on Fox last year” where Jankowicz “was repeatedly demeaned and defamed in highly personal language,” according to the lawsuit.
According to the aforementioned Fox News hosts, Jankowicz’s mission is “to silence anyone who criticizes the Biden administration” and possibly even, as Mr. Carlson warned, “get men with guns to tell you to shut up.”

Jankowicz alleges that she has to resign from the Disinformation Governance Board to escape the deluge of criticism spearheaded by Fox News, and that the network’s hosts and their guests falsely claimed she was fired.
“Even after achieving their stated goal of driving me out of government and ending the board, they kept using me as a punching bag,” Ms. Jankowicz said in an interview on Wednesday. “It shouldn’t be something we just accept — that the most powerful cable network in the world can attack individuals willy-nilly and not face any consequences after they ruin their lives.” CONTINUE READING…
