When Elon Musk acquired the social media company Twitter, he swore to reestablish free expression on the network and began about cleaning house to the consternation of liberals and the joy of conservatives.
Under its former ownership, Twitter discriminated against conservatives, suspending the accounts of individuals who expressed right-leaning viewpoints, and promoting left-wing narratives to the extent that it became a forum for leftist viewpoints. Using phrases such as “hate speech” and “misinformation,” the then-executives of Twitter classified and erased comments with which they disagreed.
Prior to the arrival of CEO Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s senior executives played a crucial part in the suppression of news. The writers of breaking and revealing posts on Hunter Biden’s laptop and other news exposing corruption in the Biden administration have been suspended.
The former head of legal, policy, and trust Vijaya Gadde was driving the attempt to put down all information relating to the (now revealed to be genuine) story concerning the laptop, as well as other articles that did not meet the viewpoint of the left.
Musk first fired all Twitter employees who had participated in such censorship, announced new working rules, and then ushered in the new era of Twitter, which includes the release of fines for the misdeeds of those formerly involved in censorship initiatives, most recently the files pertaining to the most recent presidential election.
Musk sent writer Matt Taibbi with explosive data proving Twitter’s complicity in pro-Biden electoral intervention in 2020 on Friday.
The Biden campaign used Twitter’s censoring regulations to their advantage, as evidenced by internal Twitter interactions in the months preceding the election.
7. Slowly, over time, Twitter staff and executives began to find more and more uses for these tools. Outsiders began petitioning the company to manipulate speech as well: first a little, then more often, then constantly.

It appears that Musk purchased Twitter with a plan in mind and would leave no stone unturned in his endeavor to restore the business to a forum for free speech.
Biden himself has said that he will be monitoring Twitter following Musk’s takeover of the social media platform.
One may thus assume that the White House would not use Twitter as a genuine news medium. President Joe Biden and the White House are still active on Twitter. Given the liberal critique of the platform, this seems surprising. A reporter raised the issue during a recent White House news conference.
Peter Doocy, a journalist for Fox Press, put Jean-Pierre on the defensive during Wednesday’s White House news conference.
Western Journal commented, “This guy might be the worst nightmare of Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Doocy pointed out the White House’s hypocrisy in continuing to use Twitter after all but throwing shade at new CEO Elon Musk.”
“When are you guys going to delete the White House Twitter account?” Doocy questioned Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre didn’t immediately answer, instead asking Doocy in turn why such a move would be appropriate for the Biden administration.
Doocy persisted and drove the point home. “You’re saying that you’re keeping an eye on Twitter because it might not be a suitable platform — so why use it?” Doocy retorted. CONTINUE READING…
