GOP Leader Caught In a MASSIVE Lie After Leaked Audio Just Emerged

As we reported yesterday, after the Capitol riot last year, Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy promised to get Donald Trump out of politics, believing he was to blame for inciting the violence on January 6.

In excerpts from an upcoming book quoted in a New York Times report Thursday, McCarthy told Republican leaders, ‘I’ve had it with this guy,’

As reported by the book, backstabbing McCarthy expressed interest in pushing Trump to step down, but McCarthy’s spokesman Mark Bednar denied this, saying to the Times: ‘McCarthy never said he’d call Trump to say he should resign.’

Spineless McCarthy followed up some public rebukes of Trump by kissing his ass (because he knew he would lose his position if it were found out that he was on the side of the Democrats) four days after the violence. He told his GOP leadership team that he intended to discuss the impeachment resolution with Trump.

While he made it clear that it was unlikely Trump would follow his suggestions, he would say: ‘I think this will pass, and it would be my recommendation you should resign.’

Right after the violence, McCarthy, siding with the Democrats, said “The president bears responsibility,” and he demanded that Trump “accept his share of responsibility.” The backstabber said this despite it being widely known that Trump told the people at the rally at the Ellipse to protest “patriotically and peacefully” at the Capitol Building.

But now, McCarthy has been busted after he was caught in a massive lie. An audio recording of him saying he would tell Trump to resign has surfaced!

An audio recording of the conversation was released after McCarthy denied a newspaper report on Thursday morning, which was adapted from This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, by Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns, two reporters with the New York Times.

The California Republican said the reports were “totally false and wrong.”

Leftist MSNBC host Rachel Maddow played an audio recording of McCarthy responding to Rep. Liz Cheney asking whether Trump would resign on Jan. 10, 2021. McCarthy is heard saying that he will probably have the conversation with Trump “tonight.”

Anti-Trumper Cheney says she did not leak the tape of McCarthy telling colleagues that he would urge former President Donald Trump to resign following the Capitol riot, which contradicts McCarthy’s blanket denial.

“The select committee has asked Kevin McCarthy to speak with us about these events, but he has so far declined,” Cheney’s spokesperson said today, referring to the J6 committee. “Rep. Cheney did not record or leak the tape and does not know how the reporters got it.”

Of course, McCarthy’s just a piece of crap who really wanted Trump out of the White House. McCarthy quickly changed his tune and kissed Trump’s backside just so he could stay in power himself. McCarthy is still kissing Trump’s ass while secretly being against him.

That could be why Cheney would release the tape. Because McCarthy didn’t go full anti-Trump pro-socialist Dem as she did.

Among those on the call were Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise, the second-ranking Republican in the House, and Minnesota Rep. Tom Emmer.

“I’m seriously thinking of having that conversation with him tonight. I haven’t talked to him in a couple of days,” McCarthy says on the recording.

“The only discussion I would have with him is that I think this [impeachment resolution] will pass and it would be my recommendation you should resign,” McCarthy added. “That would be my take, but I don’t think he would take it. But I don’t know.”

Slimebag McCarthy has not yet commented on the tape.

Loser McCarthy publicly lambasted Trump in the wake of the riots on Jan. 6, 2021, for not doing more to quell the protests.

However, McCarthy’s position soon changed.

Approximately one week after Trump left office on Jan. 20, McCarty visited Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where the two reached an agreement to help Republicans regain the House majority.

McCarthy is expected to be elected speaker of the House next year after Republicans take back control of the chamber, but among some members of the GOP, there is growing dissatisfaction.

Matt Gaetz, a Republican who has floated Donald Trump as House speaker, reportedly slammed McCarthy and accused Cheney of secretly recording the audio.

“While I was rallying in Wyoming against Liz Cheney … Kevin McCarthy was defending Liz Cheney among House Republicans … While Liz Cheney was secretly recording Kevin McCarthy for the New York Times. [McCarthy] — you should have trusted my instincts, not your own,” Gaetz said.

Both McCarthy and Cheney are scum RINO opportunists. So much so that they even stab each other in the back, not to mention Trump and the American people.

Both need to go and as for House leadership, warrior Jim Jordan would be the perfect pick.
