A witness with professional experience working with scoundrel attorney Michael Cohen testified before a grand jury on Monday, exposing him as a greedy opportunist and liar. Cohen, a rabid Never Trumper who appears to have repeatedly lied about the actions of his former employer to avoid leftist attacks on himself, is being exposed as a liar.
According to recent testimony, attorney Robert Costello testified that Cohen was suicidal at the notion of going to jail and told his counsel he would do everything to avoid spending a night in prison.
Now it looks that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is ignoring stunning exculpatory information offered by Cohen’s former counsel that might exonerate President Donald J. Trump in order to pursue a political agenda.
Cohen, a former Trump staffer, was discussed by Costello before the grand jury in Bragg’s case against the 2024 presidential contender.
After several failed attempts to entangle Trump through the use of his office, Bragg hopes to finally capture Trump for good.
Cohen’s previous attorney, Costello, who knows how slippery Cohen is, referred to him in court as a “convicted perjurer” and hinted that his evidence to the grand jury against Trump may not be legitimate.
On Friday, it was reported that Bragg was close to indicting Trump for alleged hush payments paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential campaign, ostensibly to keep her quiet about their alleged affair in 2006.
Jon Doughtery stated for Conservative Brief that the grand jury has been hearing evidence and testimony surrounding the case as well as his business activities, adding:
“Costello noted that he provided testimony despite being warned by others that he didn’t have anything to gain. He said he wanted to provide the truth to grand jurors, and to counter the lies promoted by the media. He added that if there was solid evidence to pursue Trump, no problem — but he suggested that Cohen is not necessarily a reliable witness.”
“If you see the full picture, you know, listen, if they want to go after Donald Trump and they have solid evidence, so be it. But Michael Cohn is far from solid evidence,” he told NewsNation.
“This guy, by any prosecutor’s standard, and I used to be deputy chief of the criminal division in the Southern District of New York, I wouldn’t have touched the guy like Michael Cohen, especially if he’s a convicted perjurer,” he continued. “Not to mention, as I said, the 50 to 100 lies he [Cohen] told us that are in those 330 emails.”
Cohen, a former attorney for Trump who went before a grand jury as part of the probe earlier this week, pled guilty in 2018 to a variety of felonies, including campaign finance law violations involving the $130,000 payment to Daniels.
Cohen, who was also imprisoned for more than a year following his conviction, alleges he paid the money at Trump’s request, according to The Hill. Doughtery said that he was condemned to three years in prison but freed to home confinement when the COVID-19 outbreak struck.

Trump acknowledged reimbursing Cohen for the payment, but insisted that it was not associated with his campaign funds. The Trump Organization classified the payment reimbursing Cohen as a legitimate expenditure. Others have noted as well that Trump self-funded his first campaign. CONTINUE READING…
