Latinos’ departure from the Democratic Party brings these erstwhile liberals to the Republican Party. The Democratic Party has moved so far to the left that it is losing its more conservative members, while the Republican demographic base continues to expand. Former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Hawaii’s 2nd District, Tulsi Gabbard, is an example.
She was a Democrat in the House from 2013 until 2021. At age 21, she was the youngest individual elected to public office in the history of the state. Gabbard, a college graduate and officer in the military reserves, has a history of engaging in local politics in Hawaii. She is also a member of the reserve military.
Last week, Gabbard announced her departure from the Democratic Party and criticized “warmongers” and the “elitist cabal” on her way out.
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war,” she said on Twitter while not elaborating on whether she would join another Party.
Since her retirement from the House in 2021, Gabbord has been vocally critical of the Democratic Party, including President Joe Biden.
“I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite,” the former representative said.
“I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me n leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me,” she said.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich commended Tulsi for abandoning the Democrats, stating that she is one of many Americans who have historically voted for the Democrats but now find them unrecognizable.
“[Gabbard] has always been somewhat of a maverick,” remarked Gingrich. “And I believe that when she ran for president, she learned just how alienated she was from the vast bulk of the Democratic Party, which is now, quite frankly, a pretty strange party…. I believe you are catching this drift. As a result of the Democratic Party’s wackier policies, Latinos have shifted significantly toward the Republican Party.
Gabbard has become a notable example of people disillusioned with the Democratic Party’s direction and who embrace the Constitutional principles of the United States Constitution.
Although former President Donald Trump has not officially declared his campaign for the 2024 presidential election, it is widely believed that he will run, and surveys indicate that he has the overwhelming support of conservative Americans. Trump’s running mate has been the subject of considerable speculation, and the Republican Party offers a variety of options. However, the field is shrinking.
Greg Gutfeld, anchor of Fox News, believes he knows who former President Donald Trump would choose as his running partner if he runs for president again in 2024.

During a segment on “The Five,” Gutfeld and the co-hosts discussed former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party. Gutfeld spoke highly of Gabbard, saying she is the “definition of an individual” and predicting she will be Trump’s running mate in 2024. CONTINUE READING…
