Greg Gutfeld appears to support longstanding colleague Tucker Carlson following his precipitous resignation from the network.
Monday brought the news that Carlson had been dismissed from his post. On Wednesday, the anchor of Gutfeld’s own Fox News program raced to social media to support Tucker Carlson and disparage Geraldo Rivera, another Fox News presenter who had spoken out against Carlson’s remarks.
Rivera had tweeted that Carlson’s opinions were “bullsh*t” and that the former president of the United States had incited a rebellion. Gutfeld responded to Rivera’s tweet by complimenting him as a “class act” and “real man of the people,” which seemed to directly refute Rivera’s criticism of Tucker Carlson.
Numerous Fox News viewers supported Gutfeld and Carlson in response to the tweet’s popularity.
You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people. https://t.co/20LOwVzXwS

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly has recently defended Tucker Carlson against allegations that he supports white nationalist ideas. Kelly criticized liberal commentator Keith Olbermann for comparing Tucker Carlson to a Nazi.
“Not one of these women could solo host a show and get ratings. Not one. They are & will always be ensemble players. Their jealousy is on full display here, and ideological hatred too of course,” former Fox News host Megyn Kelly said.
