Hunter Biden, the son of vice president Joe Biden, has been in the spotlight after his laptop with evidence of unethical and illegal foreign business operations was uncovered. In addition to his political and legal issues, Hunter also has domestic issues. From fathering a kid from an affair with a stripper to dating the widow of his deceased brother, Hunter is up to his neck in problems.

Recent news includes a child of Hunter’s who was born after an affair he had with a stripper, Lunden Roberts, 31, who is raising the couple’s daughter in Arkansas, filed a petition in December amid a continuing paternity lawsuit over child support payments that had been adjusted due to Biden’s “financial circumstances,” which he said had undergone “substantial, material change.”

Her petition requested that the child’s name, Navy Joan Lunden, be altered to suit her father’s identity, Hunter Biden. In a Dec. 27 petition, Roberts urged Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer to allow her daughter to assume Biden’s last name, noting that Navy is “estranged” from the first family and arguing that this “misconduct or neglect” may be remedied by giving her the Biden name, as reported by Conservative Brief.

“To the extent, this is misconduct or neglect, it can be rectified by changing her last name to Biden so that she may undeniably be known to the world as the child of the defendant and member of the prestigious Biden family,” said the filing.

Despite Biden’s assertion that the name change would be detrimental to the couple’s daughter, her mother contended that it would really be advantageous for her since the name is “now synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute and politically powerful.”

The August 2018-born Navy has never met a member of the Biden family, including Hunter himself. Lunden was a dancer at a bar frequented by Hunter Biden, according to the Daily Mail, which added:

In the filing last month, it was stated that Navy remains ‘estranged’ from the Biden family and suggests that this ‘misconduct or neglect’ can be rectified by giving her the Biden name.

However, Hunter Biden, who is at the heart of a federal investigation into his international business dealings, is now opposing the petition, stating that the name will be detrimental to the kid. First son Hunter Biden has now sought a judge to prevent his estranged four-year-old daughter from assuming his last name, arguing that she would be deprived of a “quiet existence” if she did so. According to sources, the motion was submitted with the court on January 6, just weeks after the mother filed a petition to alter the child’s surname, which is now Navy Joan Roberts.

This month, Hunter’s attorney submitted a motion urging the judge to refuse Roberts’ request, stating that the kid should decide for herself after “the disparagement of the Biden name is no longer at its peak.” Hunter asserted that Roberts’ goal is now “political warfare” against the Bidens and that it reverses her attempts to redact their daughter’s name and any other identifying information from the public court record in late 2019.

The fact that Navy, who is supposed to resemble a young Hunter, does not have Secret Service protection like the rest of the family is a consideration. She is the fourth of Hunter Biden’s five children; she was conceived when he was in a love relationship with Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau Biden.

Hunter Biden first disputed that Navy was his child, but a 2019 DNA test proved otherwise. After Navy’s birth, he resolved a paternity suit with Lunden for $2.5 million; Hunter still provides monthly child support and pays for the child’s healthcare.
