Kevin Morris, Hunter Biden’s attorney, may be seen consuming a hookah during a meeting with the president’s son, according to images obtained by the Daily Mail.
Thursday, Hunter Biden met with Morris at his home in Pacific Palisades, following the former senator’s acceptance of a lenient plea agreement from the Department of Justice last month on misdemeanor tax charges. Photos captured during the meeting by the Daily Mail appear to show Morris inhaling a bong in plain view of a street.
Although marijuana use for recreational purposes is legal in California, it is uncertain what was in the attorney’s hookah.
Morris is best known for negotiating a $900 million agreement with Viacom on behalf of the creators of South Park in 2011. Morris has also collaborated with Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Rock, and Matthew McConaughey, in addition to these Hollywood A-listers.
Hunter earned the moniker “sugar brother” after he agreed to provide the First Son with an estimated $2.8 million to pay off his tax arrears and joined his legal team in the midst of criminal and congressional investigations.
Morris is currently prosecuting the right-wing organization Marco Polo and its president, Garrett Ziegler, a former Trump White House staff member who has been investigating the Biden family.
The attorney filed court documents in Los Angeles charging Ziegler and his foundation with harassment, invasion of privacy, and “criminal impersonation.”
On Thursday, the two met just hours after Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) published the complete FBI FD-1023 form, which details allegations that Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky paid the Biden family $10 million in bribes.
Given the First Son’s history of substance abuse, however, the most recent photographs have ignited controversy. Since being expelled from the Naval Academy for cocaine use, Hunter Biden has struggled his entire existence with a crack cocaine addiction.
Hunter Biden disclosed in an interview with People that, after seven years of sobriety, he relapsed in 2010 and again in 2013. Before becoming sober in time to be appointed to the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, he underwent multiple stints in detox and later sought treatment at a Mexican clinic.
