Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed the authenticity of a leaked draft opinion that was published by Politico, betraying the US Supreme Court in early May and igniting a summer of rage against the Supreme Court, the Pro-life movement, and Conservatives in general.

At the time Robers noted the controversial draft- which appeared to overturn Roe V Wade didn’t represent the court’s final position, hinting that everyone concerned was trying to pressure the Justices to change their minds before announcing the ruling to the public.
Since early May the left has gotten their entire protest industry involved with harassing the Justices in obeying the left- which has resulted in death threats to the Conservative justices- and one arrest for death threats against Justice Brett Kavanagh.
While many people believe they knew who the leaker of the draft was immediately after the Politico stunt, attempts by Roberts or the Biden administration to identify the leaker have gone soft.
In fact, Roberts opening an investigation- and then doing nothing- was a convenient way of giving cove to delays and prolonging the ruling to be made public.
In the meantime, while America waits to hear, the left is bracing themselves to fight back against the ruling- which has been extended this week, perhaps to give the left more time to hurt the Justices and destroy the ruling.
NPR, like most lapdog media, is not interested in the leader- but is interested in assisting the left’s organizing and messaging with reports like this:
“States across the country already have signaled their intention to restrict or ban abortion if Roe v. Wade is struck down. Some 40 million women of reproductive age live in those states, and advocates for reproductive rights say ending Roe could have seismic consequences for the country.
The news that the Supreme Court may be poised to strike down Roe. v. Wade spurred protests outside the court last night and abortion-rights activists are being urged to march in cities across the country later today.”
The apparent leaking of a Supreme Court draft opinion is unprecedented in modern court history, but the high court has seen some lesser leaks in the past — including in the 1972 Roe v. Wade case.
U.S. Supreme Court officials are ramping up their search for the source of the leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade.
And one Republican thinks he has an idea of “who” the leaker might be.
Conservative Brief, Martin Walsh, reported on one US Rep who was suspicious from the day after the leak:
“In an interview with Newsmax, Montana GOP Rep. Matt Rosendale said he was certain at least some of the justices know the leaker’s identity, saying he thinks they should come forward if they do.
“We all could probably agree that the justices that were appointed by Democrat presidents know who the leaker was,” he said. “What bothers me, it’s not only the undermining that it did of the institution and the trust factor that these folks have with each other, it’s that now that the trust is broken, it’s very difficult to restore it.”
“There could be more people involved, and those people could go all the way to the top,” he said. “Don’t eliminate the judges because you know people, so there’s no way that would happen. No way. Think about it. Michael Sussmann is on trial right now for Russiagate. That happened six years ago. We’re only getting answers right now. I hope it doesn’t take another six years to get answers to what happened at the Supreme Court.”
The Supreme Court will soon deliver the official ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the highly anticipated abortion case that could overrule Roe v. Wade.
A draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito was leaked to Politico in early May and it set off a firestorm on social media.
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document. “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
Two weeks ago, in Mid May, as Roberts continued on with his Kabuki theater over the investigation of the leaker, CNN reported:
“SCOTUS officials are escalating their search for the source of the leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, taking steps to require law clerks to provide cell phone records and sign affidavits, three sources with knowledge of the efforts have told CNN.
Some clerks are apparently so alarmed over the moves, particularly the sudden requests for private cell data, that they have begun exploring whether to hire outside counsel.

The court’s moves are unprecedented and the most striking development to date in the investigation into who might have provided Politico with the draft opinion it published on May 2. The probe has intensified the already high tensions at the Supreme Court, where the conservative majority is poised to roll back a half-century of abortion rights and privacy protections.
Chief Justice John Roberts met with law clerks as a group after the breach, CNN has learned, but it is not known whether any systematic individual interviews have occurred.”
Americans might call this summer- the summer of ‘prolonging the inevitable forever.’
