Fox News declared on Saturday that Lara Trump is no longer a compensated contributor.
According to the Los Angeles Times, a Fox News official issued the following statement: “We appreciate Lara’s valuable contributions across Fox News Media programming.”
Lara Trump is married to Eric Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump. The previous year, she began contributing to Fox News.
In its coverage, the Times described the separation as “amicable.”
The site stated that the decision was in accordance with Fox’s policy of not accepting political candidates as contributors, noting the termination of Fox’s contract with Sarah Huckabee Sanders when she ran for governor of Arkansas and won.
The Washington Post highlighted, however, that the ban typically applies only to those who have declared their own campaigns and not to family members.
Fox News ousted Lara Trump after the 2024 announcement. Honestly I know there’s some good people on that network but those are very few and far between and other than them Fox News has been dead to me since the day they called Arizona.

Lara Trump may still appear on Fox News as a guest.
According to The Washington Post, Lara Trump has been a fervent supporter of her father-in-law despite having no official role in the current Trump campaign.
For instance, the day after the midterm elections on November 8, she reportedly stated that “if there is ever a time people are ready for Donald Trump to come back, it could be right now.”
In a Fox Business interview following Donald Trump’s announcement that he will seek re-election, presenter Stuart Varney stated, “I’m sure you’re very supportive of your father-in-law, but to those of us on the outside looking at it, it didn’t seem as though he’s got the old magic, you know what I mean?”
Lara Trump did not overlook this.

“Oh, well, I highly disagree with that,” she said, according to Variety.
Lara Trump is no longer with Fox News. I do have to admit, Fox News has been very shady lately, I do like a few of their host but I’m starting not to like Fox News. They don’t always stand up for us https://t.co/xcUNw4MZ4d
