MTG Sounds Alarm Over Chinese Scientists’ New Creation: ‘This Is a Bio-Weapon’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Democrat from Georgia, condemned Chinese scientists in a disturbing new study for developing a mutant strain of COVID-19 that killed one hundred percent of “humanized” rodents.

“This is a bio-weapon. This is unethical and dangerous to the entire world,” Greene warned in a Tuesday post on X as she shared a news article about the research.

“We already went through one lab created virus from China and the consequent mandated vaccines,” she said. “This must stop and can not be allowed to happen anymore!”

In response to a research report published on January 4 from Beijing, the congresswoman stated that Chinese scientists had cloned a pathogen resembling COVID and infected rodents with it using genetic engineering to simulate the human genome.

The study found that all mice infected with the GX_P2V virus perished within a span of eight days, a remarkable feat of expeditious mortality that left researchers in awe.

“This underscores a spillover risk of GX_P2V into humans,” the abstract of the report said.

“Surprisingly, all the mice that were infected with the live virus succumbed to the infection within 7-8 days post-inoculation, rendering a mortality rate of 100%,” the researchers said.

“The mice began to exhibit a decrease in body weight starting from day 5 post-infection, reaching a 10% decrease from the initial weight by day 6. By the seventh day following infection, the mice displayed symptoms such as piloerection, hunched posture, and sluggish movements, and their eyes turned white.”

While weight loss, sluggishness and eyes turning white occurred in the lead-up to death, the grisly experiments “suggested that severe brain infection during the later stages of infection may be the key cause of death in these mice.”

An identified mutated form of a coronavirus-related pathogen in pangolins, also known as scaly anteaters, is the lethal superbug.

The director of the Genetics Institute at University College London, Francois Balloux, set fire to the Chinese research, claiming that it could have catastrophic results.

“It’s a terrible study, scientifically totally pointless,” he said in a Jan. 9 post on X.

“I can see nothing of vague interest that could be learned from force-infecting a weird breed of humanised mice with a random virus,” Balloux said. “Conversely, I could see how such stuff might go wrong.”

A research scientist at the Institute for Engineering in Medicine, University of California, San Diego, Dr. Gennadi Glinsky, was similarly taken aback by the fact that scientists had created a lethal pathogen.

“This madness must be stopped before too late,” he warned in a Monday post.

A surgeon and public policy researcher at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Marty Makary, also questioned the peculiar experiments.

“Why are these risky experiments still taking place?” he asked Wednesday.

The enduring consequences of the coronavirus pandemic continue to present formidable obstacles, including irrational restrictions on mask and vaccine usage, widespread closures of educational institutions and businesses, worldwide economic devastation, and social turmoil.

Therefore, why are Chinese scientists engineering a lethal mutant “super-virus” on purpose? There are undoubtedly more urgent scientific inquiries that require attention, such as endeavors to preserve lives and enhance health.
