Nikki Haley Takes Veiled Swipe at Trump

Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, has thrown a subtle jab at President Donald Trump.

Haley took aim at her former boss during a Fox News interview Friday night.

During an interview with Sean Hannity, Haley hinted that she will run for president in 2024 before taking a jab at Donald Trump.

Haley further responded to “The View” co-host Ana Navarro.

According to Slay News, Navarro recently stated on CNN that Haley “stands for whatever is convenient at the moment.”

“She’s been, first of all, anti-Trump forever,” Haley said of Navarro.

“They can’t stand the fact a minority female would be conservative.

“They want me to hate Trump all the time.

“And the fact that I don’t, they find that highly offensive.”

Hannity asked Haley whether she will run for president in 2024.

Haley refused to comment, but she did use the occasion to indirectly criticize Trump.

She said:

“Look, it is time for a new generation, it is time for more leadership.

“We cannot have another term of Joe Biden.

“And we have to remember, too, we have lost the last seven out of eight popular votes for president.

“It is time that we get a Republican in there that can lead and that win a general election.

“Right now, President Trump is the only announced Republican candidate,” Hannity said.

“What policy differences do you have with Trump?”

Haley said she had a “great working relationship with him” before adding cryptically

“Let the best woman win.”
