Office of Melania Trump Calls Out the Fake News Circulating About Former FLOTUS: ‘I Love Her So Much’

Published on

Melania Trump demonstrates the same degree of elegance outside the White House as she did as first lady.

During the years of her husband’s presidency, Melania Trump faced national derision from the same institutions that had praised her predecessor as first lady. She never winced in public when vicious assaults were made against her and her family because of her husband’s policies.

Now, with former President Donald Trump being attacked on multiple legal fronts and posing a real threat to Democrats, she is demonstrating a mastery of handling malevolent mainstream media attention.

In a pair of tweets published on Monday, Melania Trump’s office implicitly refuted “news” articles that speculated on her sentiments regarding her husband’s indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. In addition, they instructed readers to “exercise caution and good judgment” when evaluating articles, especially “when they fail to cite Mrs. Trump as a source of information.”

In the media frenzy surrounding the bogus indictment, this disclaimer regarding coverage that fails to “cite Mrs. Trump” would apply to nearly every printed reference to the former first lady.

People magazine, for example, published an article on March 23 based on unidentified sources describing a “angry” Melania Trump essentially cocooned at the Trump residence in South Florida’s Mar-a-Lago Club, performing her social duties and focusing on the welfare of her son, Barron Trump.

People reported that in the whirlwind of attention surrounding the alleged sexual encounter between Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels, Melania Trump “wants to ignore it and hopes it will pass, but she does not sympathize with Donald’s plight.”

Is any of it accurate? Part of it? Not even one? Without a scintilla of evidence, the readers are expected to trust People, that paragon of professionalism.

Recently, and more absurdly, a New York Post Page Six columnist wrote that Melania Trump lives in a “ivory tower of denial” regarding her spouse, citing Stephanie Winston Wolkoff as the source.

Wolkoff is described as a “former senior Vogue staffer who was Melania’s adviser until 2018.” The post said Wolkoff was also a confidant of Melania’s, but that the friendship ended “following a bitter dust-up” over payments for the Trump inauguration.

The Post failed to disclose that Wolkoff is also the backbiter who surreptitiously recorded her phone conversations with Melania, used them to write a book titled “Melania and Me,” and gave them to CNN’s Anderson Cooper for broadcast on national television.

In other words, this waspish woman probably hasn’t been within backstabbing distance of either Trump in at least five years, but she must be up-to-date on the inner workings of the Trump family and marriage, right?
