The candidates for the 2024 presidential race are only beginning to solidify.
Democratic President Joseph Biden insists he will run for reelection, and there are several Republican hopefuls to oppose him; nevertheless, only two have launched their candidacy for the GOP nomination.
Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley just announced her campaign, while former President Donald Trump wasted little time following the midterm elections in November to announce his candidacy in mid-November.
Although more candidates are believed to be in the race, none have actually declared their candidacy.
Following Trump, the frontrunners are Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, Governor Nikki Haley, and Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina.
Polls indicate that Trump has a significant lead over all other GOP candidates.
Haley has launched her campaign, and although DeSantis has not formally announced his candidacy and has been keeping a low profile, he is exhibiting signals of a push for the nomination.
According to NBC News, DeSantis recently established a tax-exempt company that financed his speaking appearances with police groups in New York, Philadelphia, and the Chicago suburbs last week.
This weekend, he hosted a retreat for top fundraisers from throughout the nation at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach. His nationwide book tour, which begins on Tuesday, is already sold out.
“He needs to get his name out there. He needs to get his positions out there,” said Perry DiLoreto, an influential GOP donor in Nevada who opposes Trump. “Just having a great idea and a great direction doesn’t mean you’re going to be successful. You have to bring people together and get them to buy into what’s going on.”
But, one occurrence revealed the governor’s true motives.
The recent DeSantis book signing at a Leesburg, Florida, mall was anti-Trump, as police notified MAGA protestors outside the mall that they were not permitted inside on the day of the book signing. Tuesday afternoon, Big League Politics claimed that law enforcement was following directives from DeSantis’ staff.
Patriotic journalist Laura Loomer was present and tweeted that “DeSantis does not want any pro-Trump or MAGA flags at his events as he seeks to cleanse the America First movement and return the Republican Party to the “good ol’ days” of Bush-ism.”

It should not come as a surprise that DeSantis is at war with MAGA, given his supporters. Bush released a sickening commercial in which he raved over DeSantis and backed him for the presidency:

Big League Politics has reported on how the globalist RINO establishment is coalescing around DeSantis as the man to undo Trump’s effect on Republican politics:
“Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is backed by many globalist billionaires at war against America First, and they will certainly be cashing in their favors if DeSantis decides to run for president. CONTINUE READING…
