Donald J. Trump, the Republican nominee for president in 2024, issued a message to the American people on Thursday in which he stated, ” Our country is going communist. This is what happens, and we can’t let it happen. We have to stop it,” when making reference to the men and women being held prisoner over their participation on January 6, 2021, in events at the US Capitol.
According to information produced and maintained by American Gulag, almost 100 people are now being imprisoned in jails and prisons around the nation for nonviolent offenses related to their presence on the grounds or near the US Capitol. Some individuals may have entered the building.
In what some consider to be a violation of their Constitutional rights, several have been detained for more than a year, where they have endured physical and emotional torture, with some being held in extremely unclean and cruel conditions.
The majority of those who have been charged with a crime have not yet been convicted or even given a trial date, according to the Epoch Times. Some are refused vital medical attention. In a new collection named American Gulag Chronicles, individuals relate their memories of life as a Jan. 6 prisoner through handwritten letters, poems, and artwork.
And this week’s penalty was the worst for J6 defendants.
“The DC Kangaroo Court today found Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes guilty of seditious conspiracy. Several other Oath Keepers members were also found guilty today in the DC court,” Jim Hoft reported about the latest updates for J6 defendants, for Gateway Pundit, adding:
“Rhodes will now serve many years in prison for being found guilty of trumped-up charges.
Steve Baker listed out the Oath Keepers members and the verdicts against them.
As you read the verdicts below, please understand that these men and woman did nothing wrong. They committed no violence. They planned no violence. They were unarmed. Rhodes did not ever enter the US Capitol. The members who did enter the capitol committed no violence.”
