A new report explains why Melania Trump has not joined her husband on the campaign trail as he seeks reelection.
Since endorsing former President Donald Trump’s candidacy in an interview in May, she has not appeared on his behalf.
The New York Times interviewed a dozen of Melania’s erstwhile associates, campaign aides, acquaintances, and others about her withdrawal from public life.
According to the report, the former first lady remains loyal and supportive of her husband’s campaign.
According to the Times, she does not intend to attend many of his events until 2024.
In fact, she currently barely departs Mar-a-Lago. Melania Trump prefers to maintain her privacy.
Regarding social media, she appears only interested in advertising her non-fiction titles and memorabilia.

According to sources for The New York Times, the former first lady’s distrust of the establishment media and numerous fractured relationships, including those with former advisers, acquaintances, and even Trump family members, are among the many reasons for the shift.
According to the report, Melania Trump’s relationship with her stepdaughter Ivanka Trump and Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, has at times become strained.
According to the Times, another reason she prefers to avoid the limelight is that she enjoys keeping the media speculating about her next move.
Author and journalist Kate Anderson Brower told the Times, “She is the most obviously unknowable first lady.”
“There’s something radical about it,” Brower said. “First ladies are expected to want to please people, and I’m not sure she really cares.”
Former Trump adviser and political consultant Kellyanne Conway also provided her perspective to the Times.
“I know few people as comfortable in their skin as Melania Trump,” Conway said.
“She knows who she is and keeps her priorities in check. Melania keeps them guessing, and they keep guessing wrong.”
Melania Trump intends to join the campaign sometime in 2019, but don’t be astonished if she joins earlier.
Ultimately, she enjoys keeping them wondering.
