Representative Lauren Boebert won the Colorado 3rd Congressional District’s primary election.

Don Coram, a rancher who campaigned against Boebert as a “extremist,” was handily beaten by state legislator Boebert.

According to Boebert, while dealing with legislative Democrats, Coram attempted to position himself as a “centrist.”

Nick Bowlin reported in The Guardian that “moderate Republicans” were aiding Democrats in their efforts to remove Boebert from office.

Tuesday evening, these attempts were unsuccessful.

After losing his primary, the career of a longstanding RINO Republican congressman came to an end.

According to NBC News, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell defeated Republican Representative Steven Palazzo in Mississippi after Palazzo was investigated for misusing campaign cash.

In 2021, the Congressional Ethics Office discovered “strong grounds to suspect” he had misused campaign cash and asked his employees to perform errands on his behalf.

Sheriff Ezell, a former county chair for Donald Trump’s campaign, criticized Palazzo for his actions in the ethics investigation and his absence from both the congressional district and the chamber.

Due to the Covid epidemic, Palazzo wrote Nancy Pelosi, D-California, multiple times during the current Congress to designate colleagues to vote on his behalf.

Palazzo was top among the seven contenders with 31,6 percent of the vote, but was unable to avoid a runoff. Ezell came in second place with 25,1 percent of the vote.

The Sun Herald published:

Ezell said that never in his wildest dreams did he thing he would be standing among his supporters Tuesday night. “I just wish I had the words to say thank you — thank you so much from the bottom of my heart,” he said. “My parents raised me to work hard … and to take care of other people. And that’s what I’ve done my whole life and I will continue to do that.” on Tuesday night at 9:20 p.m., Palazzo called Ezell to concede.

“I congratulated him. I told him he won the lottery tonight, and it’s very rare,” Palazzo said.

Ezell will face Democrat Johnny DuPree and Independent Alden Johnson in November during the mid-term election, which is expected to be extremely contentious this year given the economic issues and social turmoil. The 4th District is heavily Republican, so Ezell is the favorite to go to Washington, D.C. in January.

Boebert’s race was one of the big ones being closely watched to see if the left could take her out. Fortunately, she survived. CONTINUE READING…
