After permitting SBF to return to his parents’ home before Christmas, TGP claimed that the judge who freed him recused herself from the case due to her husband’s conflicts.
Zerohedge reported today:
So fast forward to today when Sam Bankman-Fried’s criminal case was reassigned to Bill Clinton-appointed District Judge Lewis Kaplan, recently known for handling a Epstein-linked sexual abuse lawsuit against Britain’s Prince Andrew, and defamation lawsuits against Donald Trump, and is also known for presiding over a number of federal racketeering cases involving Mafia members. In April 2010, Kaplan was assigned to preside over the cases of 14 Gambino crime family members arrested on charges, among others, of racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, witness tampering (in the 1992 trial of John Gotti), and sex trafficking of a minor.
This is excellent news for SBF. Judge Kaplan is a member of the Democratic Deep State gang.
E. Jean Carroll has been granted permission to sue President Trump for alleged rape by Judge Kaplan. A claim that President Trump has categorically refuted.
US District Judge Lewis A Kaplan ordered on Wednesday that the former president must appear for a deposition on October 19 and answer questions under oath (12 October).
The court refused the request made by Mr. Trump’s legal team to postpone the hearing.
Ms. Carroll’s attorney, Roberta Kaplan, issued the following statement: “We are pleased that Judge Kaplan agreed with our position not to stay discovery in this case.”
Mr. Trump refutes Carroll’s accusations. Alina Habba, his attorney, said in a statement to The Associated Press, “We look forward to establishing on the record that this case is, and always has been, entirely without merit.”
Judge Kaplan noted in his opinion that “the defendant should not be permitted to run the clock out on plaintiff’s attempt to gain a remedy for what allegedly was a serious wrong,” and emphasized the “advanced age” of the parties. Mr. Trump is 76 years old, while Ms. Carroll is 78 years old.
Carroll’s television interviews about her charges should have been sufficient to dismiss any lawsuit, but not with Judge Kaplan. It is directed against President Trump.
Additionally, Judge Kaplan supervised the sexual abuse (connected to Jeffrey Epstein) lawsuit against Prince Andrew.
A U.S. judge dismissed the sex abuse lawsuit against Britain’s Prince Andrew on Tuesday, three weeks after attorneys for the American woman who filed it reached an agreement requiring the prince to make a substantial donation to his accuser’s charity and declare he never intended to smear her reputation.
U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan signed court documents dismissing the August case after being requested to do so earlier in the day by attorneys on both parties. The court gave them until March 17 to reach an agreement or he would schedule a trial. This action cannot be refiled.
Three weeks ago, the attorneys said that they had informally agreed to a settlement in which the prince would give to Virginia Giuffre’s charity and submit the character declaration.
Andrew vehemently disputed Giuffre’s charges after she sued him, accusing the British royal of sexually assaulting her in 2001, when she was 17 and traveling with billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
After Clinton’s appointment, Kaplan has been in place for some time. He is the ideal judge for the SBF.
