Panicky US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) pleaded with Democrat Joe Biden this week about his personal anxieties of losing a crucial election in the coming weeks, and he was recorded on a hot mic discussing the Democratic Party’s low odds of winning.
Schumer informed Biden, “That seat, we’re in danger in that seat,” adding seconds later to the ailing President,
According to the Daily Wire, it is unclear to which seat or state Schumer was referring.
Schumer then addressed Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s poor debate performance earlier this week. Fetterman is the Democratic candidate competing against Trump-backed Mehmet Oz for retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey’s seat.
“Well, we’re, you know, it looks like, it looks like the debate didn’t hurt us too much in Pennsylvania as of today,” Schumer said. “So that’s good.”
“That said, The Daily Wire noted that betting odds and some polls have shifted to Oz’s favor following the debate, which saw Fetterman — who suffered a stroke in May — struggling mightily to answer questions,” Jon Doughtery of Conservative Brief stated, adding:
“Schumer then said it appears as though Georgia’s race has shifted to another Trump-backed candidate, former football great Herschel Walker, who is running against incumbent Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock.
“And we’re basically, we’re, I think we’re going to [inaudible],” Schumer said. “The state where we are seeing, the state we are going downhill, is Georgia. It’s hard to believe that they will go for Herschel Walker.”
He said that the party was “picking up steam” in Nevada.

Generic polling over the past month has generally favored Republicans, indicating the party could be on the cusp of retaking at least the House.
On Thursday, Walker — at an event also attended by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) — denied new allegations that he paid for a young woman’s abortion years ago.
“Well, I’m gonna just say right now guys, I’m done with this foolishness,” Walker said in response to a question from a reporter about them. “I’ve already told people this is a lie, and I’m not going to entertain, to continue to carry a lie along.” CONTINUE READING…
