SCOTUS Justice Makes Bold Statement About Leaker

Someone leaked a Supreme Court draft majority opinion on Roe v. Wade. The political world was set on fire. When the final ruling comes down, there will be even more violence incited by the left.

Democrats hope to influence the justices through violence to change the outcome of the decision. They are also using the leak to motivate their base to vote in November as the midterms are predicted to be a bloodbath for them.

In the draft opinion, the justices denounced the 1973 ruling that guaranteed the right to abortion under the federal constitution and a 1992 decision that effectively maintained it, Planned Parenthood v. Casey. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the draft.

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he stated in the document, which is titled “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Five justices – Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett – voted for overturning, while three – Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan – dissented. According to the report, Chief Justice John Roberts has not made his decision yet.

Roberts is not happy about the leak, though. And he says that members of the court will not be threatened or bullied into changing their minds, ever.

The Supreme Court Chief Justice criticized the Roe v. Wade opinion leak on Thursday in a private meeting, calling it “absolutely appalling.”

In remarks to judges and attorneys in Atlanta first reported by CNN, Roberts said he hoped ‘one bad apple’ would not affect ‘people’s perception’ of the high court.

Having leaked the document, he called the individual or persons responsible ‘foolish’ for believing that it would influence court decisions.

He announced earlier this week that an investigation would be conducted into the ‘betrayal.’

‘I have directed the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak,’ Roberts said in a statement on Tuesday.

Roberts said the leak was an ‘egregious breach’ and an ‘affront to the court.’

‘We at the Court are blessed to have a workforce – permanent employees and law clerks alike – intensely loyal to the institution and dedicated to the rule of law. Court employees have an exemplary and important tradition of respecting the confidentiality of the judicial process and upholding the trust of the Court. This was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here,’ Roberts decalred.

‘To the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected in any way.’

Justice Roberts did not want Roe overturned, so he would have dissented from the five other conservatives in Alito’s draft opinion, according to CNN. Roberts appeared to be seeking a way to uphold Mississippi’s ban on abortions after 15 weeks without overturning Roe during arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the case at the center of the dispute.

While protests were raging, high fences began going up around the Supreme Court on Wednesday evening as tensions rose in the wake of a draft opinion that hinted at a decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Massive fencing was erected around the marble building just east of the Capitol following warnings that protests could become increasingly violent and causing Justices to cancel public appearances.

There are plans by left-wing groups to deliver activists and protesters to the homes of conservative justices.

According to the group ‘Ruth Sent Us’, the homes and addresses of Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts will be walked by the groups next Wednesday.

‘Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,’ the group states on its website. ‘We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.’

Bush appointee who joined the court in 2006, Alito argues that the 1973 abortion rights ruling was an ill-conceived and deeply flawed decision that invented a right mentioned nowhere in the Constitution and unwisely sought to wrench the contentious issue away from the political branches of government.

Alito’s draft ruling would overturn a decision by the New Orleans-based 5th Circuit Court of Appeals that found the Mississippi law ran afoul of Supreme Court precedent by seeking to effectively ban abortions before viability.

Due to the leak, Alito canceled plans to attend the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals judicial conference scheduled to begin on Thursday, as the associate justice was to review emergency appeals from the 5th Circuit.

There is still no word on whether Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Clarence Thomas, who were scheduled to speak at a similar conference on Thursday and Friday, will appear.

Roberts knows the justices very well. If he says they won’t be bullied into changing their votes, he means it. This means Roe v. Wade will be overturned.
