Senator Quits The Democratic Party!

Published on

At least one Democrat state senator in West Virginia, a state that largely supports the Conservative-Populist America First program and Donald J. Trump, is running as fast as he can from the communist overtones of the Democrat Party, which is a fascinating development to see.

61-year-old Glenn Jeffries, a former Democrat who is now a Republican senator representing the 8th district in West Virginia, made the move on January 11, 2017, giving the state’s extreme MAGA agenda even more influence.

Republicans, who previously dominated the state Senate of West Virginia with the exception of a few members, now own an additional seat. According to our friends at We Love Trump, West Virginia State Senator Glenn Jeffries, who was previously a Democrat, registered as a Republican earlier this week.

Jefferies was quoted saying, “Our politics have gotten so personal and difficult,” adding, “I want to make sure that I serve constituents and our state in a respectful, thoughtful way that leads to a better life for all West Virginians.”

“West Virginia State Senator Glenn Jeffries switched from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party,” Jereme45 (@Jereme45) posted on Twitter on December 1, 2022.

State Senator Glenn Jeffries of the Democratic Party defected from the Communist Party to the Republican Party.

“Tony Hodge, GOP Chai of the West Virginia “Glenn…expressed to me his discomfort with the leftward direction of the Democratic Party and that he no longer identifies with them,” RealRober (@Real_RobN) reported on Twitter on December 1, 2022.

WBOY 12 revealed the following:

Senator representing the 8th District of West Virginia has chosen to switch political parties.

According to a statement released by Senator Glenn Jeffries on Thursday, he has submitted paperwork to join the Republican caucus. Jeffries was elected as a Democrat in 2016 to represent portions of Kanawha and Putnam counties, and he stated that he intended to “work in a bipartisan way.” He also stated that he intends to continue doing so with his new party membership.

“Our politics have gotten so personal and difficult,” said Sen. Jeffries in his statement. “I want to make sure that I serve constituents and our state in a respectful, thoughtful way that leads to a better life for all West Virginians.”
