The team of Diamond and Silk have been enchanting audiences with their straightforward and humorous news analysis. Conservative political pundits and vloggers garnered widespread media coverage in 2016 when they endorsed Donald Trump for president, and again in April 2018 after Facebook deleted and disabled their page, deeming it “unsafe for the community.” For challenging the veracity of the COVID-19 data, they contributed to Newsmax and were dismissed from Fox News. The two testified before Congress over their removal from Facebook and were referenced during Mark Zuckerberg’s congressional interrogation.
With Diamond’s untimely passing this month, the partnership has reached its last days, despite all that they stood for with pride. 51-year-old Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway of the pro-Trump combo “Diamond and Silk” fell dead unexpectedly at her North Carolina residence. Far too soon. On Saturday, a celebration of life was held for Hardaway, and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson was present to witness the terrible moments. During her remarks, she also revealed the heartbreaking final moments of her sister’s untimely and unexpected death.
Richardson was direct and to the point as she recalled Hardaway’s final moments in her address.
“It was sudden, out of nowhere, and no warning. I got her to the kitchen table, opened up the back door, so that she could get some air. And each breathe was less and less and less until her eyes became a stare,” Richardson said. “But what I want to say to everybody is don’t you dare call me a conspiracy theorist because I saw it happen. I saw how it happened. I was there when it happened. And it happened suddenly,” she said. “I want America to wake up and pay attention. Something ain’t right. It’s time to investigate what’s really going on here and get some answers to why are people falling dead suddenly.”
Western Journal reported that “Few would argue Hardaway’s status as one of former President Donald Trump’s biggest fans, and as her sister, Richardson, revealed during at the ceremony for Diamond on Saturday, the love between Hardaway and Trump was nothing less than reciprocal. Not only did Trump heavily promote the ceremony for his friend on his Truth Social platform, but Richardson also took a moment during the ceremony to praise Trump for picking up the cost of the celebration of life ceremony and whatever funeral arrangements Richardson thought would be best for her dear sister.”
“Silk talks about how DJT told her to have whatever she wants for Diamond’s funeral and he would cover the costs. I love this man,” one Twitter user wrote.

As former President Trump observed from the sidelines, Richardson opted to share his emotions to the tragedy with the audience.
“I got to tell this,” Richardson said. “And I pray and hope that it is OK with President Trump because, he does things and it don’t get out in public, and now that I have the world’s attention, I have to say this. When I told him that Diamond had passed, he said, ‘ohhh,’ he was heartbroken. He said, ‘OK, we’re going to have a nice gathering for her, a nice funeral,’ and I said oh no we don’t have a body. We followed her wishes and we cremated her. He said ‘OK, I want you to do whatever you want, I want you to have the best of whatever you want, and whatever you want Diamond would have, and I don’t want you to worry about paying for nothing,’” Richardson said.
At that point, during the open-to-the-public event, cheers and applause could be heard from the audience. Richardson, pointing to Trump, seated on her left on the podium, said, “That’s what this man did for my sister! He didn’t waver. He didn’t think about it.”
One Twitter user stated, “That’s a good man. I don’t care what people say about Trump. His decency is never reported and his bad behavior is always exaggerated.”

Richardson also pointed out the stark contrast between Trump and President Joe Biden.
“This is what a president is supposed to do,” Richardson said, again pointing at Trump, drawing more cheers. “See, Jim Crow Joe Biden ain’t called me yet. He ain’t gonna call me.” CONTINUE READING…
