As President Joe Biden’s physical and mental health worsens and Vice President Kamala Harris becomes more and more disliked, Democrats are grabbing at straws to try to make Republicans less popular.
Former President Donald Trump has a huge lead over other Republican candidates and even over Vice President Joe Biden. As a result, Democrats are doing everything they can to stop Trump. A lot of complaints and lies have been said about Trump, and now there’s a new, silly claim: Trump is trying to take power.
It’s not a surprise that liberal university professors are speaking out.
A senior lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Penn State and the author of the newsletter Notes From the Middleground Substack told the Guardian, “Thirty years ago if I told you that a bunch of billionaires and intellectuals on the right are waiting in the wings to impose a dictatorship on the United States, you would have said that I was insane,” liberal outlet Salon writes.
“But it’s no longer insane,” Linker writes. “It’s now real. There are those people out there.” And, Linker notes, “The question is: will they get their chance.”
Libs claim that Republicans are “calling to end democracy and replace our president with a ‘Red Caesar’,” blatantly suggesting that Republicans are embracing fascism and want a dictator.
Liberals try to say that Republicans “no longer believe in elections” while Trump works for fair elections and points out the mistakes that have already been found in the 2020 election.
Salon writes:
“Donald Trump, the American fascist movement’s current standard-bearer, has said that if he again gains the White House he will immediately lock up and then prosecute high-profile Democrats and the judges and prosecutors who have tried to hold him to account for his decades of criminal activity.”
The outlet also goes after Florida Governor and presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis:
“Meanwhile, down in Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis has created two new armed organizations answerable to himself: a new ‘state guard’ militia and a police agency that is supposed to provide for ‘election integrity’ (GOP code for preventing Black people in blue cities from voting).”
And:
“As former Republican Gov. Charlie Crist (now a Democrat) said of DeSantis’ new armed officers: ‘No governor should have his own hand picked secret police.’”
It sounds like the broad charges are coming from a political party that is desperate and will say anything to get people to believe that Republicans are bad.
The public knows that the United States had a growing economy, free speech and school choices, no wars, a return to constitutional and conservative principles, and many other good things while President Trump was in office.
Wars that are getting worse, like the attack of Israel, and inflation that won’t go down speak for themselves.
But that doesn’t stop liberal media from trying to twist efforts in those ways to make Republicans look like they are attacking rights instead of the party that is fighting FOR citizens’ civil rights.
Salon writes:
“Across the country, Republicans are threatening and intimidating teachers and librarians into stripping from their collections any books that positively portray Black or queer people,” ignoring the inappropriate initiatives at public schools that fly in the face of parents rights.
“Armed fascist militias supportive of those efforts show up at school board and other meetings with assault rifles strapped across their backs to heckle and threaten elected officials,” is actually describing citizens exercising their rights to arm themselves and use freedom of speech to protest the happenings in schools t, appropriately, the school boards.
And again comparing citizens with constitutional rights to fringe hate clubs:
“Dozens of white supremacist militia groups nationwide — modern versions of the old Ku Klux Klan — openly embrace Republican politicians while parading with Nazi and Confederate flags.”
The way Trump campaigned in rural America and in the center of conservative values and constitutional rights is making Democrats attack the rights that every American should value.
Trump always makes sense of things in his social media posts and criticizes the left media for their attacks. In a post on Monday, he called out the rhetorical shell game:
It’s a high amount of people coming into the US through our TOTALLY OPEN SOUTHERN BORDER. These are the same people who attacked Israel. Are they making plans to attack our country? This was done to us by crooked Joe Biden and his boss, Barack Hussein Obama!”
Trump has also said that our enemy China has a lot of power over American media. He said that China Investment Corp, the country’s sovereign wealth fund, and “very badly failing Forbes Magazine” are both involved in the “Election Interference Scam.”
Today, Trump wrote on Twitter that Forbes is a “China Propaganda Machine.” This shows that Americans need to be skeptical of what the media says and read and study what they read to find out the truth.
