NBC News reported that “emergency room visits for adolescent suicide attempts soared this past summer and winter, especially among girls, perhaps in connection to America’s struggle with Covid-19, new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data revealed Friday.

There was a 22.3 % spike in ER trips for potential suicides by children aged 12 to 17 in summer 2020 compared to 2019, according to findings published in the CDC’s “Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.”

That trend seemed to continue into this recently completed academic year as visits were up by 39.1 % this winter, compared to the previous winter,” the report said.

Additionally, Breitbart reported that the freefall of President Joe Biden’s job approval rating continued this week, dropping to 38 % over the past month.

Surveying 1,355 adults between February 2-4, the IBD/TIPP poll found the president’s job approval rating stood at 38 % with a disapproval rating of 48 % of adults, with another 14 % undecided. The presidential leadership index, which tracks how the president is “viewed when it comes to leading the country,” put the president’s approval at 44.4 %.”
