According to Donald Trump’s rambling social media post in response to allegations of cocaine at the Biden White House, the president’s son Hunter is an addict.
In addition, the former president speculated that the drugs belonged to ‘crackhead’ Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is responsible for investigating Trump’s management of top-secret documents.
Trump asserted in a post published on Truth Social on Wednesday that the media will attempt to minimize the discovery of drugs in the White House by disputing the results of lab testing.
The white powder discovered in the White House on Sunday evening was identified as cocaine by a secondary lab on Wednesday, confirming the results of initial tests that yielded the same conclusion.
The Secret Service is still searching for the individual who brought a dime-sized container containing illicit substances onto the White House grounds.
“Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden,” Trump said in his post on the incident.
He added: “But watch, the Fake News Media will soon start saying that the amount found was ‘very small,’ & it wasn’t really COCAINE, but rather common ground up Aspirin, & the story will vanish.”
In the second portion of his Truth Social post, Trump decided against attacking the Bidens and shifted his focus to the DOJ special counsel instead.
“Has Deranged Jack Smith, the crazy, Trump hating Special Prosecutor, been seen in the area of the COCAINE?” Trump questioned. “He looks like a crackhead to me!”
Wednesday, the United States Secret Service (USSS) reiterated that the white substance was discovered in a “work area within the West Wing” of the White House, but declined to comment further on the ongoing investigation.
In a storage area of the West Wing, a small package containing cocaine was discovered. It is unknown how long the suitcase and its contents were at the White House, so the timeline is unclear.
Given that the material was discovered in a heavily trafficked area of the White House, a source familiar with the investigation said Tuesday that it may be difficult to determine who carried it inside.
Given the “highly traveled” nature of the West Wing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre indicated during her news conference on Wednesday that the substance may belong to a large number of individuals.
Hunter Biden, 52, a drug addict, was immediately implicated as the source by certain Republican politicians and right-wing activists.
On Sunday night, a uniformed Secret Service agent discovered a white granular substance. As a consequence of the discovery, the White House was evacuated without the presence of Vice President Joe Biden.
According to dispatch calls to the Washington DC Fire Department, the powder was discovered in the ‘library,’ which is a portion of the executive home located two stories below the first family’s living quarters and is also accessible to the public.
However, USSS issued a statement refuting that dispatch afterward. Cocaine was discovered in the West Wing of the White House, according to the description.
The illicit substance was found in a cubby in a communal storage area where White House visitors and staff frequently store their mobile phones.
A source familiar with the investigation told NBC that the material was found in a “small, dime-sized bag.”
