Former President Donald Trump, who is already bound by a restraining order in the case, poked fun at New York Attorney General Letitia James by sharing a link to her residence in reference to the ongoing fraud trial.
On certain Tuesdays throughout his court appearance pertaining to the ongoing fraud trial, Trump would lament to reporters regarding the case and the gag order issued by Federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan in a separate case on Monday. Furthermore, in the fraud case, Judge Arthur Engoron issued a restrictive silence order.
Nevertheless, this did not deter Trump from launching additional nighttime assaults, including this one on Truth Social, which contained an unexpected element:
Her Fake Case against me should be dropped immediately! My Financial Statements are extremely conservative, and her numbers were way off, including the fact that she undervalued Mar-a-Lago and Doral by Billions of Dollars. She also didn’t reveal the 100% Disclaimer Clause at the front of the Financial Statements, and that she sued me under a Statute that was never used before. MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE AND ELECTION INTERFERENCE ALL WRAPPED UP IN ONE!
The tweet contained a hyperlink to a slander article authored by Laura Loomer, a white nationalist, which comprised documents bearing the residential address of Attorney General James. The link to the post on the Loomer substack is provided.
The restraining order issued by Judge Engoron, which prohibits Trump from making derogatory remarks about court employees, was initiated by a prior Trump Truth Social post wherein the magnate reviewed the judge’s chief law clerk. Following that, Trump removed the objectionable article.
“Consider this statement an order prohibiting any parties from posting, emailing, or speaking publicly about any members of my staff,” Engoron stated in court. There will be severe consequences if this is broken.
