Former President Donald Trump is actively pursuing the support of state and local Republican prosecutors amid his ongoing legal battles involving multiple, concurrent indictments.
Donald Trump is currently facing two federal indictments, one of which accuses him of mishandling sensitive documents and the other of illegally attempting to contest the results of the 2020 presidential election. The individual in issue is presently facing an indictment in Georgia for election-related offenses, including his efforts to challenge the voting process in that state. Additionally, he confronts another indictment in New York, which accuses Trump of manipulating company documents in relation to payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign.
“I hope that Republican district attorneys and attorneys general throughout the country are closely watching the tremendous weaponization of justice that is being utilized against me. There’s NEVER been anything like it,” Trump stated in a video posted to social media.

“You ought to watch. Frankly, it’s ‘an eye for an eye,’ or it’s ‘fight fire with fire.’ What they’re doing to our country is amazing,” he said.
“So, Republicans, I hope you’re watching,” he said.
Trump’s most ardent supporters viewed the previous president’s statements as a typical example of his bombastic rhetoric and therefore viewed them favorably.
