Former President Trump began the week by criticizing the Republican Senate leadership for allegedly ignoring the numerous allegations made against Joe Biden and his family.

Before focusing on senators from his own party, Trump declared, “Joe Biden is the most corrupt President in the history of the United States, which is undeniably proven in the House of Representatives every single day.” He then went on, “But with all of these horrible revelations and facts, why hasn’t Republican ‘leadership’ in the Senate spoken up and rebuked Crooked Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats, Fascists, and Marxists for their criminal acts against our Country, some of them against me.”

He questioned with bewilderment “How long does America have to wait for the Senate to ACT?”

Biden has been investigated for both his involvement in his son Hunter’s numerous business endeavors and any potential interference with the criminal investigation against Hunter.

Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, two IRS whistleblowers, assert that pressure from the Department of Justice prevented specific charges from being filed against the president’s son and prevented specific lines of inquiry from being pursued.

President Biden’s claim that he never discussed his son’s international business endeavors with him has been called into question in light of communications from Hunter to a business associate in another country in which he threatened to infuriate his father if he did not get his way.

Mitch McConnell, the minority leader of the Senate Republicans, and President Trump share a troubled history. While the two developed a professional relationship while Trump was in the White House, Trump has assailed McConnell on a regular basis ever since he left office.

In February 2021, after McConnell reprimanded him over the January 6 Capitol disturbance, Trump proclaimed, “Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again.”

Trump began assaulting Elaine Chao, a former member of his cabinet who is also McConnell’s wife, on a frequent basis last year, referring to her as “China-loving wife, Coco Chow.”

Trump railed against the current offenses that Democratic prosecutors have filed against him.

“Just think of it! Between Mueller, Deranged Jack Smith, and Congressional Committees, over 100 Million Dollars has been spent investigating me since I came down the escalator in Trump Tower. Biden is a criminal, and almost no money, by comparison, has been spent investigating him. Get smart, Republicans, they are trying to steal the Election from you!” Trump post on Truth Social yesterday.

The former president went on, “Merrick Garland, Deranged Jack Smith, and coordinating Democrat “Prosecutors” in New York and Atlanta, have become the Campaign Managers for the most corrupt and incompetent President in United States history, Joe Biden! Who would have thought this could happen in our once great Country?”

“How many times can Crooked Joe Biden’s DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE, TOGETHER WITH THEIR LOCAL DEMOCRAT D.A.’S & A.G.’S, INDICT HIS POLITICAL OPPONENT DURING THE COURSE OF THE CAMPAIGN? DO THEY UNDERSTAND THE DAMAGE BEING DONE TO AMERICA? IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. WE MUST STOP THESE “MONSTERS” FROM FURTHER DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY!”

“Do you think that A.G. Garland, and Deranged Jack Smith, understand that we are in the middle of a major political campaign for President of the United States? Have they looked at recent poll numbers? Why didn’t they bring these ridiculous charges years before – Why did they wait to bring them NOW – A virtually unheard of scenario? PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT! ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

“In an announcement on Truth Social on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump revealed that he had been informed he is the subject of an investigation conducted by a grand jury based in Washington. The investigation is centered around the Jan. 6 Capitol incursion and Trump’s role in the events of the day,” according to a Wednesday article by Rachel Emmanuel for The Western Journal.

“The timing of this investigation is not a coincidence. It has been two years since the tumult, and over 1,000 have faced various charges, according to Axios, but not Trump. So why now?” she said, continuing that she thought “the actual motive” for charging Trump now was to use the law to bar him from ever holding the White House — or any elected position — again.

According to Emmanuel, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment will be utilized in “a desperate campaign strategy to keep the former Trump off the ballot in the 2024 election.”

She emphasizes the following Constitutional provision:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or an elector of the President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States or any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebuff By a vote of two-thirds in each House, the Congress may rescind the restriction.

Emmanuel adds that two left-leaning organizations, Mi Familia Vota and Free Speech for People, are already working in at least five states to keep Trump off the ballot. They assert that the “Insurrectionist Disqualification Clause” should serve as the rationale for removing Trump from office, as they hold him culpable for the disturbance at the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, which they have deemed a “insurrection.”
