President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he intends to appear voluntarily at the Fulton County jail in Georgia, where he is expected to be arrested on charges related to a grand jury indictment accusing him of illegal activities aimed at reversing the 2020 presidential election.
President Donald Trump issued a momentous proclamation via the social media platform Truth Social one day before his scheduled court appearance.
Former President Trump stated,
“NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.”
“FOR DOING SO, I WILL PROUDLY BE ARRESTED TOMORROW AFTERNOON IN GEORGIA. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!”
Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, will reportedly surrender himself voluntarily for arrest in the state of Georgia. This decision is anticipated to be made on the day following the Fox News broadcast of the Republican Party’s presidential primary debate. Notable is the fact that Trump has publicly declared his intention to abstain from the aforementioned debate.
The amount of the bond in the Fulton County case involving Trump has been set at $200,000.
On August 14, charges were submitted against the 45th president and 18 co-defendants for their alleged participation in an attempt to invalidate the 2020 Georgia presidential election.
President Trump was given a Friday at noon deadline to exhibit himself for booking purposes.
Former President Donald Trump harshly criticized Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis earlier this week for allegedly ignoring the increase in criminal activity in Georgia and prioritizing what he perceives to be a politically motivated investigation targeting him and his associates.
“Governor Kemp of Georgia is fighting hard against the impeachment of the crooked, incompetent, & highly partisan DA of Fulton County, Fani Willis, who has allowed murder and other violent crime to MASSIVELY ESCALATE,” Trump wrote.
“Crime in Atlanta is WORST IN NATION. She should be impeached for many reasons, not just the witch hunt (I did nothing wrong!). Willis should focus on out-of-control murder, not ‘I will get TRUMP’ over a perfect phone call. Georgia does not deserve this GIANT MURDER WAVE.”

President Trump’s remarks were in response to reports of a vehicle colliding with multiple pedestrians in the state while attempting to elude law enforcement.
Homicides in Fulton County, Georgia, have risen for three years in a row. Georgia State Patrol and other officers are put in horrific situations like last weekend's car chase. Donald Trump is right. A giant murder wave is crashing into Georgia.
