Is it conceivable that former President Donald Trump is contemplating appointing a female vice president in a future political endeavor?
President Trump discussed the possibility of selecting a female running companion during a recent interview with NBC News.
During an interview with Kristen Welker, the presenter of “Meet the Press,” Trump voiced his approval of the proposal.
During the interview that was broadcasted on Sunday, Welker posed a question, “Are you leaning toward a woman?”
“I like the concept, but we’re going to pick the best person,” Trump said.
“But I do like the concept, yes.”
Trump provided clarification by expressing his preference to refrain from excessive contemplation on the matter, stating that the appropriate time has not yet arrived as his current focus is on winning the Republican primary.
Nonetheless, President Trump highlighted Kristi Noem’s distinguished record as governor of South Dakota.
“She’s been a great governor.”

In the interview, Trump expressed his opposition to the implementation of an age restriction for presidential candidates. Nonetheless, he recommended that Vice President Joe Biden undergo a cognitive exam to determine his suitability for the position.
During the conversation, President Trump also discussed the multitude of criminal indictments he faces from federal and state prosecutors.

The ex-president currently holds a prominent position in Republican primary polling, as indicated by the majority of polls that consistently indicate Trump’s significant lead over his competitors.
According to a compilation of polling data from RealClearPolitics, it is evident that Trump enjoys the support of 56.6 percent of potential primary voters. This represents a significant lead of 44 points over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who received 12.7% of the vote. Each of the remaining competitors has a numeric value within the range of one to nine.
