Tucker Carlson Has His Own Theory on Why He Was Fired – If He’s Right Even Bigger News Is Coming Soon: Report

Tucker Carlson has not commented publicly on his dismissal from Fox News as of Tuesday morning, but according to a new report, he believes his dismissal was part of a two-pronged attack on the network.

Monday saw the abrupt departure of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” anchor Tucker Carlson.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” Fox News said in a statement. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

Carlson has reportedly informed others that he believes his program was canceled and he was fired because the Murdoch family intends to sell Fox News. The report cited unidentified sources.

Rupert Murdoch, the proprietor of Fox News, has appointed his son Lachlan the CEO of Fox Corp., the parent company of Fox News.

According to the claim, Suzanne Scott, the chief executive officer of Fox News, contacted Tucker Carlson on Monday morning to inform him that his program was being canceled and that his Fox News email had been disabled.

According to Vanity Fair, he informed those around him that Scott did not explain the decision, informing him only that it was made “from above.”

The report stated that as of last week, Carlson was optimistic that his contract with Fox would be extended through 2029.

According to a report in The New York Times, Murdoch and Scott decided to dismiss him.

The Times report said Carlson faced “a growing list of troubles inside the network related to his conduct on and off the air, some of which had been grating on Lachlan Murdoch.” It cited “two people with knowledge of the company’s decision” as its source.

According to The Washington Post, Paddy Manning, who penned a book about Lachlan Murdoch, stated that Murdoch was responsible for Carlson’s dismissal.

“Lachlan is pretty sensitive to accusations of a toxic work environment where sexual harassment is involved,” Manning said.

Abby Grossberg, who worked on Tucker Carlson’s show, has filed a lawsuit alleging she was subjected to a discriminatory and hostile work environment. According to some reports, this was a major factor in Carlson’s dismissal.

Manning added that the dismissal of many prominent individuals by Murdoch was not the result of a single major incident, but rather “a buildup and then a final last straw.”

Without an official explanation for Carlson’s dismissal, the news media and social media were inundated with rumors.

The Hill noted in an article about Carlson’s departure that it occurred after Fox News settled a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787,500,000. Dominion alleged that Fox News defamed it after the 2020 election.

According to The New York Times, Carlson is being sued by Fox News producer Abby Grossberg, who cites the workplace culture at Fox News as the basis for her lawsuit.
