Tucker Carlson was critical of President Joe Biden’s administration’s attempts to convince people that “Putin’s price hike” is to blame for the widening inflation and rise in gas prices.
“Putin’s price hike? So I guess the question is how much dumb propaganda do they think we’re going to believe? To think it’s Putin’s price hike, you’d have to be like a moron. Our central bank has made the dollar near worthless and they’ve been doing this for like more than a decade,” Carlson argued.
“You remember Joe Biden’s State of the Union address last month in which he promised he was going to do to Vladimir Putin what he did Corn Pop, he was going to beat him with a chain and destroy the Russian economy and crash the ruble,” he continued.
“It would’ve been nice if Biden said I’m going to get Russian troops out of Ukraine and that will help everybody and everybody, including us, would have applauded. But he can’t do that. So instead, he’s going to destroy Russia’s economy but he couldn’t do that even. It turns out the Russian economy is based on commodities, it’s not based on finance, it’s not like our economy,” he added.
“Biden has never had a real job so he did not know the difference. But it turns out the ruble has bounced back. In fact, it’s slightly more valuable than it was on the day that Russia invaded Ukraine. The economic situation in the United States by contrast is deteriorating fast. Here’s Joe Biden’s publicist today announcing that inflation is about to get worse and Vladimir Putin did it.”
“Putin’s price hike? So I guess the question is how much dumb propaganda do they think we’re going to believe? To think it’s Putin’s price hike, you’d have to be like a moron. Our central bank has made the dollar near worthless and they’ve been doing this for like more than a decade. So if you think it is Putin’s price hike, I guess they do expect we do think that, but the bottom line is Russia invades Ukraine. It’s appalling. Everyone agrees. But our response to it, does it hurt Putin? No. It hurts the United States. We’re the real victims,” he asserted.
Carlson argued last month that Biden should be removed from office.
In a segment for Tucker Carlson Tonight, Tucker argued that it’s time to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Vice President Biden from office after the president made a number of comments about Russia, Ukraine, and Russian President Vladimir Putin which White House staffers have walked back.
“The joke is over. Too much is at stake. If there ever was a time — if there was in U.S. history ever a time to invoke the 25th Amendment, it is now. As Joe Biden himself put it, ‘For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.’ For all of our sakes,” Carlson declared.
“Uncontrollable flashes of anger are common among people who are aging, particularly among men, and they often accompany senility. Losing it is a very frustrating experience and your heart goes out to anyone who is. We have deep sympathy for anyone in that position, including Joe Biden, but Biden is the president of the United States, and this is the single most volatile moment in the recent history of our country.”
“Biden is leading the U.S. toward war, and so it’s fair to assess the effect on the rest of us of his mental and emotional conditions, not simply about age, Biden is 79. Biden is clearly unable to speak with precision. And when you’re president of the United States and the world hangs on your every word, when your words constitute American policy, when you can change American policy, particularly America’s foreign policy simply by saying so, it is essential that you speak the words you intend to speak, that you not get carried away because you’re mad and say something you don’t mean that might threaten the long-term interests of this country, threaten the families and the children of the rest of us and our future, but he is,” Tucker continued.
The American people are noticing Biden’s destructive behavior, too.
Kari Donovan reported for The Republic Brief on Monday:
A recent Rasmussen poll of likely voters was asked the question: “Which would be better for America: If President Joe Biden is reelected in 2024, if former President Donald Trump is elected president again in 2024, or if somebody else is elected president in 2024?” And they responded in a decisive way.
“More than half of American voters say that President Joe Biden has been bad for the country’s future, and fewer than a third want him to be reelected in 2024.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Biden’s presidency has been bad for the long-term success of the United States. Thirty-four percent (34%) think Biden’s presidency has been good for America’s long-term success, while another 11% say it hasn’t made much difference.”
